Intended Use

  • This wil intend right handed tard, by asing a variety of bits, and
  • This tool is intended to be used in dry locations only. Do not expose to rain, water and excessive humidity.

Before First Use

DANGER Risk of suffocation!
Keep any packaging materials away from children and pets – these materials are a potential source of danger, e.g. suffocation.

  • Remove all the packing materials.
  • Remove and review all components before use.
  • Check the tool for transport damages.
  • Do not use the tool if it appears damaged.

Preparation

Installing a bit
Insert a bit into the magnetic bit holder (A) (Fig. 1). The magnetized holder holds the bit in place.

Installing a bit with hex shank bit extension

  1. Insert the hex shank bit extension into the magnetic bit holder (A) (Fig. 2). The magnetized holder holds the hex shank bit extension in place.
  2. Insert a bit into the hex shank bit extension (Fig. 2).

Taking off a bit
CAUTION
Risk of injury!
The bit may be hot after prolonged use. Wait for it to cool or use gloves to take off the bit.

  • Pull the bit out of the magnetic bit holder (A).

Charging the battery

  • CAUTION
    Risk of injury!
    Do not charge the tool for more than 24 hours.

  • NOTICE

    • Fully charge the tool before using it for the first time. The optimal charge is achieved after 3 hours.
    • To check the amount of battery left in the tool, press and hold the battery/torque button (E). The battery/torque indicator (D) lights up accordingly:

  1. Lift the rubber cover and connect the USB-A side of the USB charging cable (I) to a suitable 5 V USB battery charger (not included) (Fig. 3).
  2. Connect the other side of the USB charging cable (I) to the charging port (G) of the tool (Fig. 3).
  3. Connect the USB battery charger to a suitable socket outlet (Fig. 3). The battery/torque indicators (D) flash green while the tool is charging:

  1. The battery/torque indicators (D) stay on green for 100 seconds then
  2. After charging hept the too had the USB battery charger.

Using the LED worklight
NOTICE
This tool is equipped with 2 LED worklights (B) that illuminate when the forward/reverse switch (C) is pressed. This provides additional light on the surface of the workpiece for operation in low light areas (Fig. 4).

Use

Before each use

  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE). Depending on the application, use face shield, safety goggles or safety glasses. As appropriate, wear dust mask, hearing protectors and gloves (Fig. 5).

  • Check the tool and its accessories for damage. Do not use the tool if it is damaged or worn out.
  • Check for loose screws, misalignment or binding of moving parts, or any other condition that may affect the operation. If abnormal vibration or noise occurs, switch the tool off immediately and have the problem corrected before further use.
  • Charge the tool if needed. Do not use the tool if it is bulging or hot.
  • Always firmly hold the tool by its handle. Keep the tool clean.
  • Switch the tool off immediately if bystanders are interrupting the work.
  • Never lay the tool down until the bit has come to a complete stop. The spinning bit may grab the surface and pull the tool out of your control.
  • Do not work continuously for extensive amounts of time with the tool.
  • Take breaks in between work to ensure full concentration while using the tool.

Selecting a torque

  • Press the battery/torque button (E) to switch between torque settings (Fig. 6).
  • The battery/torque indicator (D) lights up accordingly:

Selecting the rotation direction
NOTICE
To prevent the gear damage, do not change the rotation direction while the tool is operating. Let the tool come to a complete stop first.

  • For forward/tighten direction: Press the front side of the forward/ reverse switch (C) (Fig. 7).
  • For reverse/loosen direction: Press the back side of the forward/ reverse switch (C) (Fig. 7).

Driving Fasteners

Tips
NOTICE

  • Always use the correct type and size of bit for the application.

  • Drill a pilot hole when driving fastener in hard wood, or at or near the cross cut end or an edge of wood, in order to avoid cracking of the wood.
    DID YOU KNOW?

  • Torque is a turning or force that drives a fastener. The greater the torque the greater the force. Different type of materials require different amount of torque.

  • Only apply the tool to the fastener (screw/bolt or nut) when the tool is switched off. Rotating bits can slip off and damage the thread.

  • It is recommended to perform the first few turns manually by hand, key, or a screwdriver to ensure the correct driving of a fastener.

  • In case of working with threaded components, do not exert too much pressure on the tool. This can lead to the damage of the thread.

  • Always hold the tool aligned to the fastener (Fig. 6). Holding it at an angle may cause slipping or jamming of the fastener.

Driving fasteners in/out
The tool features automatic spindle lock for manually tightening or loosening screws.

  1. Select and install a suitable bit.
  2. Pressing on the desired direction of the forward/reverse switch (C). (Fig. 8).

Cleaning and Maintenance

NOTICE

  • Switch the tool off before cleaning, maintenance, storage, or transportation.
  • Never tane do not a mening tol m water or other liquids.

Cleaning the housing

  • Wipe the tot do, after deaning, slightly damp cloth.
  • Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal or sharp utensils to clean the tool.

NOTICE
Certain cleaning agents and solvents damage plastic parts. Some of these are: gasoline, carbon tetrachloride, chlorinated cleaning solvents, ammonia and household detergents that contain ammonia. Do not use cleaning agents and solvents containing these, as they can damage the tool.

Transport

  • Make sure the tool is secured safely for transit.
  • Avoid vibrations and shocks.

Storage

  • Clean the tool before storing.
  • Store the tool and all its accessories in the storage case in a dry area.
    Keep away from children and pets.

Removing Built-in Battery for Disposal

  • The tool has a Li-ion built-in battery inside. Before disposing the tool, remove the built-in battery.
  • Only remove the batteries if they are completely empty.
  • Protect battery terminals with heavy tape to prevent short-circuit.
  • Dispose of the batteries at an official collection point for batteries.
  • Batteries may explode when disposed of in fire, so do not burn battery for any reason.
