• Wear safety glasses or goggles, or a face shield (with safety glasses or goggles) and protective gloves when using this product.

• Be careful not to get your fingers caught.

• Choose the proper size of punches for the job.

• After using the punching pliers, it is recommended to wipe the dirty place with a towel and apply oil to the cutting edge, and put it in a ventilated and dry place to prolong the service life.

OPERATION INSTRUCTION:

1. If adding an additional hole to an item, measure the size of the existing holes. Measure distance between existing holes if you desire the new hole to be equidistant from the others.

2. Mark the location that the new hole will be punched.

3. Unlock the handle, rotate the punch head as indicated by the arrow to the desired hole size.

4. Position item in punch pliers, making sure that the punching head is perpendicular (at a 90 degree angle) to the punching stand. Make sure to add a  piece of PVC cover to protect the punching metal head before using the pliers to punch a hole.
   TIP: If PVC covers are used up, you’d better to add a cardboard between pad and workpiece for easier punching clean and accurate holes.

5. Squeeze the handles of the punch pliers until the blade passes completely in the workpiece, then loosen the handles.
   TIP: Normally, the debris will fall out from the hole on its own. If debris is blocking the hole, poke it out with a needle.

6. When punching work is done, you can re-lock the safety lock in the bottom of punch pliers for storage.
