✓ Familiarise yourself with the application and limitations of the ladder stand-off, as well as the potential hazards.
✓ Maintain the equipment in good condition.
✓ Replace or repair damaged parts. Use genuine parts only. Unauthorised parts may be dangerous and will invalidate the warranty. -
WARNING! Use the ladder on level and solid ground and either have an assistant stand on the lowest rung or otherwise anchor the base of the ladder to prevent slipping. ✓ When viewed from the front, the top of the ladder section(s) must always be directly above the base.
✓ Place the ladder at an angle of 65° to 70° – foot of ladder 1 meter from the wall for every 3 meters up for stability.
✓ Where possible, lash the top of the ladder to a fixture to prevent slipping. -
WARNING! Never over-reach when on the ladder stand-off.
✓ Keep children and unauthorized persons away from the working area.
✕ DO NOT use the ladder stand-off for any purpose other than that for which it is designed.
✕ DO NOT use the equipment if any parts are damaged or missing as this may cause failure and/or personal injury.
✕ DO NOT allow children to climb the ladder.
✕ DO NOT use the equipment when you are tired or under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or intoxicating medication.
INTRODUCTION
Aluminium framed stand-off fits any ladder. Offers superb stability at the top of a ladder with a wide span of 1000mm. Positions ladder 360mm away from the work area. Fitted with rubber feet to help prevent slipping. Supplied with easy installation instructions.

ASSEMBLY
5.1. STAND-OFF ASSEMBLY
5.1.1. Assemble the stand-off as Fig.1. Bolt the ribbed plate onto the main
frame make sure that the ribbed side is facing outwards, and secure with bolt,
washer, and nuts (Fig.1a).
5.1.2. Attach the support bar to the main frame using a bolt washer and nut,
choose which side you wish to have the paint hook on, and include that between
the frame and washer (Fig.1b).
5.2. ATTACH THE STAND-OFF TO THE LADDER
5.2.1. The stand-off is secured to the ladder with the two U bolts, washers,
and thumb screws (Fig.1c, Fig.2). Ensure that the angled ribbed plate is flush
with the angle of the ladder.
ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools,
accessories, and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling center, and
disposed of in a manner that is compatible with the environment. When the
product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any
fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and
fluids according to local regulations.
