The Podcard is a multi-effects console with built-in audio interface. You can easily start your live streaming with the Podcard, for its compatibility with smartphones, tablets, and computers, including Android, 10S, Win, and MAC systems. With its built-in battery and DSP, you can start streaming wherever you want and present better sound effects, which will make your live stream more entertaining.

PRECAUTIONS

Please read the following in detail first before operation.

  1. Keep and follow these instructions on the device.
  2. Do not use the product near water.
  3. Remove the cables before cleaning the device. Clean only with a dry cloth and do not use aerosol cleaners.
  4. Do not place the device near a heat source at any location with poor air circulation.
  5. Do not place heavy objects on the device.
  6. The USB main plug is considered to be the disconnect device for the product and shall remain readily operable.
  7. Unplug the product during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
  8. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer. Unauthorized substitutions may result in fire, electric shock or other hazards.
    DONNER is not responsible for damage caused by improper use or modifications to the device.

Live port

  1. Insert the microphone/music instrument into the Input 1/lnput 2;

  2. Connect the Headphone to the headset port by using a 3.5mm TRS cable;

  3. Connect the mobile phone/tablet/computer to the live port by using a 3.5mm TRRS audio cable;

  4. Long press the button for 1.5s to Power on/off;

  5. connect the music player/mobile phone/tablet/computer to the AUX IN to send music/accompaniment to the streaming;

  6. Charging the Podcard with a USB-C cable.
    USB-C streaming

  7. lnsert the microphone/music instrument into the Input 1/lnput 2;

  8. lnsert the Headphone into the headset port;

  9. Connect the computer to the USB-C port by using the USB-A to USB-C cable;
    Other connection

  10. Bluetooth function is on by default. Search “Podcard” on the mobile phone to send music/accompaniment to the streaming.

  11. No music input: The ” BT ” indicator light will flicker when waiting for connection.
    The ” BT ” indicator light is always on when connection succeeded.

  12. Music input: Short press to switch play and pause.
    The ” BT ” indicator light will flicker when music is played. The” BT “indicator light is always on when music is paused.
    The console will be automatically connected to the previous device when it is used again. Long press the button to disconnect the device that has been connected before.

  13. Connect the monitor speaker to the out port by using a “Y” type 3.5mm TRS audio cable.
    Since some mobile phones do not have 3.5mm mini jacks, a USB-C/Lightning to 3.5mm audio adapter is required. Please purchase the adapter from the phone manufacturer. You don’t have to connect all the live ports if not needed.

  1. Microphone level control
    Control the microphone input gain.

  2. Output level control
    Control the output volume.

  3. Input level indicator
    Indicate the input level in real time. The level indicator shows the input signal, when the signal indicator turns red it means the signal is strong enough to generate clipping and reduce the GAIN just enough to avoid overload during the performance.

  4. Main out and headset level indicator
    Indicate the L&R output level in real time. The level indicator shows the output signal, when the signal indicator turns red it means the signal is strong enough to generate clipping and reduce the MASTER just enough to avoid overload during the performance.

  5. EQ control fader
    Three-band EQ control, for adjusting the input to achieve deep bass, sweet midrange, and clear treble. For example, boost a range of bass frequencies to ”warm up” a voice, or boost the treble to add clarity and brighten a vocal. The fader will be in the middle position of the stroke when the EQ setting is flat.

  6. Reverb level control fader
    Push the fader to increase the level of the reverb, but make sure you have turned on the reverb function. The more reverb you add to the sound, the stronger the sense of space while the less reverb may make it sound closer.

  7. Music level control fader
    Push the fader to control the level of Bluetooth input, aux input, USB-C input, and sampling level.

  8. Auto-tune on/off and tone selection
    Short press it to turn on/long press it to turn off.
    After turning on auto-tune function, short-press the key again to choose the desired tone in sequence. The auto-tune has 12 keynotes: C,C#,D,#D,E, F, F#,G,G#,A,A#,B.

  9. Noise gate on/off
    Short press it to turn on the noise gate function, and the environment noise and ambient can be canceled automatically. We suggest disabling this function if used in a quiet environment.

  10. Sharper on/off
    Short press it to turn on the voice sharper function. The music input level will turn down automatically while you are talking.

  11. Reverb on/off and selection
    The function is on by default/ Long press it to turn off.
    After turning on the reverb function, short-press the key to change the reverb type. There are three types of reverbs: Hall (red light), Room (blue light), and Plate (purple light).

  12. Loopback on/off
    Short press ii to turn on/off the loopback function.
    During using PC live streaming or playing accompaniment on the computer, turn on the loopback function, which enables transmitting background music from the internal route to your live stream via USB-C. Turn off this function if you do not want the audience to hear the sound from your computer.

  13. Mute on/off
    Short press to turn on/off the sound from INPUT1/INPUT2.

  14. Original sample
    Short press to trigger the sampling, such as laughing, clapping

  15. Customize sample
    Long press and hold the button to record the sample, then short press the button to play after finishing recording.
    When the button is recorded with content, the corresponding indicator of the button is always on. Short press the button for 1 s to clear the recorded content.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Unable to boot

  1. Please check whether the battery is out of power. When the Podcard is low on power, the power light is red, and the auto-tune button keeps flashing. Please charge in time if the power is low.
  2. Please long press the power button for more than 1.5 seconds.

No sound from the input

  1. Please check the “mute” function is on or off, the button will light up while “mute” is on.
  2. Please check whether the Microphone level control knob has been rotated clockwise and Music level control fader has been pushed.
  3. Please check whether the output level control knob has been rotated clockwise.
  4. Please check whether the microphone or music instrument has been perfectly inserted the input port.

No music to the live stream

  1. Please check the “loopback” function is on or off, the button will light up while “loopback” is on.
  2. Please check whether the music player device is working properly.

The microphone level is too low while using other microphones

  1. Please use the microphone that in the bundle to get a better sound.
  2. The bundle microphone’s front side should point at the sound source.
