Before use
At delivery

WARNING

- The maximum load (80 kg) must not be exceeded.

- When using the sitting aid, the wheels of the bed must always be locked.
- Correct assembly is very important (see § 4).
- Before use, ensure that the belt is seated correctly between the two holders.
- Install the positioning aid at the head of the bed and on a flat surface.
- Assembly and use are only permitted under the supervision of appropriately qualified persons.
- Do not use the placement aid if it is deformed, nor try to straighten it.
- The device is not fireproof and must therefore not be placed near an open fire or extreme heat.
Shipping and Storage
- In connection with the shipping and storage of the product, the technical specifications in §7 must be observed. Make sure your product is stored in a dry place.
- It is important that there is sufficient cover or packaging to protect the product from rust and foreign bodies (e.g. salt water, sea air, sand, dust).

- Insert the raising bar 3 with the star button 2 into the base frame and secure it. Insert the erecting rod into the base frame 2 according to the drawing and fasten it.
- Make sure the raising bar is well secured.
- Attach the metal attachment ring 1 over one of the hooks on the erection bar.
- Pull the strap 2 through the trapeze 3 and fasten it in the middle of the ring 1.
- Make sure the belt 2 is properly fastened.
Using the Upright Bar
Attach the raising bar to the head of the bed. Make sure the surface is flat. The patient can now grab the trapeze and pull himself up from the lying position to the sitting position.
