- Tap the icon above the channel thumbnail on the Devices screen.
- Select “Motion Detection Settings”.
- Enable Motion Detection by tapping the icon.
Note: Disabling motion detection will automatically disable general/person/vehicle detection and you will not receive any motion detection notifications in the Lorex App.

- Launch the Lorex App on your mobile device.
- Tap the icon above the channel thumbnail on the Devices screen.
- Select “Motion Detection Settings”.
- Select “Motion ZonesTM”.

Why is my 4K Spotlight Wi-Fi camera not connecting to the Lorex App?
The camera can be onboarded on a 2.4GHz or 5GHz Wi-Fi network.
However, please note that 5GHz networks may have limitations in Canada due to
Industry Canada (IC) regulations. Connectivity issues on the 5GHz frequency
may be experienced as a result of disabling 3 out of 4 bands.
Where should I place my 4K Spotlight Wi-Fi camera?
It is recommended to place the camera close to your Wi-Fi router, reducing obstructions between the camera and the router. Avoid positioning it near electronic devices that may cause signal interference. Install the camera as far away from these devices as possible.
Why am I receiving so many notifications?
