Tools Needed:
- Drill with a 1″ hole saw
- Jigsaw with a 10 TPI blade (recommended)

Installation Instructions

Using a 1″ hole saw, drill a hole in the end of the instrument pod in the desired location.
Insert a stainless steel bolt through a rubber gasket and through the SP1BOX or SP1BOX2 housing.
Insert a rubber gasket in between the SP1 housing and the larger instrument pod housing. Then insert the stainless steel bolt through the 1″ hole in the SP1 instrument pod.
Insert the white plastic washer and rubber gasket onto the stainless steel bolt. Thread on the plastic nut.
Make sure the SP1 housing is positioned to your liking and tighten the plastic nut.
Place the template for your electronic instrument onto the face plate.
Trace the edge of the template.
Remove the template and drill the hole(s) that will secure your electronic instrument.
Use a jigsaw (10 TPI blade is recommended) to cut along the traced line. Pro Tip: Use masking tape around the area you plan to cut to avoid unwanted marks from the jigsaw.
If you are using the SP1BOX2 model, plug the 90-degree connector into the back of the B&G Triton2. Then connect the cable to the 90-degree connector.
Route the cables through the front face plate and through the hollow stainless steel bolt. Then mount the electronic instrument to the face plate and rubber gasket. Note: the rubber gasket should already be applied to the front face plate.
Make sure the flaps of the rubber gasket are pulled over the outer edge of both pod housings.
Secure the housing assembly with the four tamper-resistant screws and washers.

Can I use the SP1BOX2 model without the B &G Triton2?

Yes, the SP1BOX2 model can be used without the B&G Triton2. Simply skip step 10 in the installation instructions.
