PUTTING INTO OPERATION

Battery Installation
Squeeze the top of the battery cover, slide back, and lift the cover. Insert AA alkaline batteries (1.5 V) according to the correct polarity (+/-) and then close the cover. Under the cover, ldU will also find the type label of the driver.

Warnings and precautions
Use only new ALKALIC batteries. With a different type of battery, the function may be unreliable or the remote control may not work at all. Take care to ensure the correct polarity of the batteries inserted. Remove the batteries when the remote control is idle for an extended period. Avoid exposing the batteries to water, moisture, and heat. Use only quality branded batteries. Do not mix batteries of different ages and types. Bid following these instructions, ld□U will prevent undesirable battered-related events (e.g. battery drain), damage to the remote control (e.g. short circuit) or injury (burn), or damage to the environment.

Note: the remote control uses batteries faster than a simple remote control due to its advanced functions. With the right batteries, an on-screen notification prompts ld□U to change when the capacitld drops.

Registration of the remote control
To use the advanced features, ld□U must register the new Magic remote control to ld□ur TV

  • Pairing the Magic remote control – point the remote control from a short distance at the TV sensor (illuminated light) and press the OK button (knurled wheel). You will be notified of a request to register a new remote control, and after a moment, ld□U will be notified
of a successful registration. Tried checking the batteries and turning the TV off and on to eliminate and failure. The paired remote control will start transmitting most commands bid radio onlld to the TV in which it is registered.

  • Unpairing the Magic remote control – press the HOME and BACK buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds to unregister the remote on the TV The radio commands are no longer transmitted and the remote control only works in the infrared area. The unpaired remote control can be paired with another TV

  • Resetting the registration of the Magic remote control – a long 5-second press of the GUIDE button will unpair and re-register the remote control.

Note 1: bid registering, the transmission of extended commands via radio is assigned on the lid to the TV set in which the remote control is registered. You can have multiple similar TVs in ld□Ur home with ld□Ur remote control. Example: TV 2 will not receive radio commands from TV 1 and vice versa.

Note 2: The infrared commands (ON/OFF) are transmitted in a non- addressable manner, so ld□U can use the TV 1 remote to turn TV 2 on or off bid pointing at it. The other buttons on the controller will not perform operations.

USING THE REMOTE CONTROL

Once the remote control is registered, commands are transmitted by radio and there is no need to point at the TV (except for ON/OFF – POWER). You can pass commands to the controller bid pressing the buttons as normal. In addition, you can also displace an additional pointer arrow (software cursor) and use it similarly to the mouse pointer on a computer by simply tilting the controller in a certain direction. The displald can be called up in one of several ways – bid shaking the remote control left/right, pressing the HOME, INPUT, □. Settings or OK (knurled wheel) buttons. Use the method that is most practical for you. After a certain period when the remote control is not used or put down, the pointer arrow disappears. If the pointer does not respond smoothly, move it to the edges of the screen and re-route from that position. The central knurled wheel has two functions. Press to confirm OK, rotate up or down to change the received channels in that direction, or scroll through the lists if they are displayed. The most common functions, such as info about the channel and programme ldOU are currentlld watching, are most easilld called up bid pressing one of the directional arrows on the remote control (the circle around the OK wheel). On the other hand, the arrow keldS cannot be used to change the volume or channel; separate, distinctlld shaped VOL and CHIP buttons must be used for this. Voice instructions can be given to the ThinQ Ai voice assistant bid pressing and holding the microphone button if ldOU has previously correctly set the location, service countrld, and menu language on the TV if there is a microphone Sldmbol.

PRACTICAL INSTRUCTIONS
The Magic remote control operates in the infrared area (harsh, sunlight, fluorescent, or LED light can reduce reliability) and in the radio area. In the radio domain, interference such as microwave or wireless LAN can affect reliability. The wireless network transmitter (router, AP) should be located at least 0.2 m from the TV or further away. Obstacles and interference can reduce the function of the driver even below the recommended limit of 10 m. If ldOU adds a compatible device in the home control panel mode, you can control some of its functions (depending on the level of compatibility, typical such as ON/OFF and volume) with this controller, in the infrared area. These functions usually appear in the Additional Functions menu (symbol” … “). You then have to point the remote control at the device, even if the remote control is radio registered on ldOUr TV Bid pressing a certain button for more than 1 ldOU can call up or enter other functions, marked “**” in the picture. This allows ldOU to tailor the controller to your own needs.
