Youcan Robot YC-WP-01 Diving Phone Case

Information

Warning: Before installing the phone and using the waterproof case for diving, please conduct a waterproof test.

Please read this manual carefully before use.

Attention

1. Please use the product correctly on the basis of fully understanding the instructions. Our company is not responsible for any property losses caused by incorrect operation.
2. Before using the waterproof case to submerge your phone in water, please conduct a waterproof test first ( method: put a piece of dry tissue paper inside the waterproof case and then immerse it in 0.66ft water for 10- 20 minutes, take it out,wipe off the water and check the tissue paper ).
3. Moving between places with a large temperature difference in a shorttime may cause condensation (small water droplets) on the inner surfaceof the diving case. If condensation occurs, please take out the phone from the waterproof case and wipe off the water droplets on the case and the phone with a clean, lint-free cloth. Wait until the water vapor completely evaporates before using it again.
4. Do not damage the waterproof ring, and do not allow dust, dirt, and other substances to accumulate between the waterproof ring and the waterproof case to avoid leakage.
5. Do not use the waterproof case in water deeper than 1.31ft or where the water temperature exceeds 40°C.

Mobile Phone Mouse Mode Settings

Apple system

• Turn on the “Assistive Touch” feature of the phone.
  • Method: Open “Settings” → “Accessibility” → “Touch” → “Assistive Touch” and turn it on.
• Set the “Hover Control” mode for the mouse.
  • Off state: Confirmation requires a press of the shutter button.
  • On state: The input is automatically confirmed when the mouse moves over the function icon.
  • Method: Open “Settings” → “Accessibility” → “Touch” → “AssistiveTouch” → “Hover Control”.

Android/Harmony OS system

• Set the “click after pointer stops” mode for the mouse.
  • Off state: Confirmation requires a press of the shutter button.
  • On state: The input is automatically confirmed when the mouse moves over the function icon.
  • Method: Open “Settings” → “Accessibility” → “Accessibility” → “Click after pointer stops” → “Click after pointer stops”.

Mobile Installation and Bluetooth Connection

1. Opening and closing the waterproof case
   • Pull out the red locking buckle and keep it in place.
   • Rotate the knob in the OPEN direction to unlock the safety lock.
   • Reverse the operation to close the waterproof case.
2. Bluetooth Connection and Settings
   • Turn off the phone’s password lock screen, adjust the display brightness to the brightest, and turn off the “Auto Brightness” function.
   • Install 2PCS of “AAA” No. 7 batteries (Need to purchase separately) into the waterproof case.
   • Turn the power switch to the “ON” position, and the power indicator light will turn on.
   • Turn on the phone’s Bluetooth, search and pair with “Seafrogs Mouse” (the Bluetooth indicator light will go out after pairing is successful).
   • If the pairing cannot be completed for a long time, turn off the waterproof case and the Bluetooth switch on the phone, and then pair again.
3. Mobile Installation
   • YC-WP-01
   • Adjust the mobile phone lens to align with the waterproof case lens window, and it is recommended to place the phone tightly on the left side of the waterproof case;
   • Ensure that the mobile phone lens is inside the waterproof case lens window;
   • Stick the magnetic sheet to the back of the phone according to the position, and then put it into the magnetic range of the waterproof case toautomatically adsorb;
   • Fix the anti-fog film around the mobile phone lens, which can effectively prevent the lens from fogging.

   • Stick the magnetic sheet to the appropriate position of the phone;
   • Install the adapter frame according to the phone model;
   • Carefully place the phone into the waterproof case and close and lock it.
4. Before entering the water, first vacuum the waterproof case. With the built-in anti-fog film, it can maximize the prevention of the lens from fogging. First twist open the vacuum interface protective cover, connect it to the vacuum device and vacuum it at least 18 times, and then twist the protective cover tightly.

Note: After vacuuming the waterproof case, if you need to open it again, you must first unscrew the vacuum interface cover, use your finger to pry open the white silicone film to let the air into the waterproof case before opening it.

Operating Method

1. Turn on the default camera app on your mobile phone.
2. Use the waterproof case (up, down, left, right, confirm) buttons to control the mouse direction, and use the confirm button to control the mobile phone to take photos, shoot videos, and other functions.
3. Mouse speed setting
   • The mouse speed has three gears (slow/medium/fast), and the default speed for first-time use is “slow”.
   • Press and hold (up + down) buttons at the same time for about 5 seconds. The Bluetooth indicator will flash, and it will switch to the next gear. Repeat this process.
4. Mouse movement direction setting
   • The system defaults to the horizontal screen status of the mobile phone display.
   • Press and hold (left + right) buttons at the same time for about 5 seconds. The Bluetooth indicator will flash, and it will switch to the vertical screen status. Press and hold again to switch back to the default status.

Maintenance and Care

1. Before using the waterproof case, check the waterproof ring and surrounding grooves, and remove any debris (such as salt, sand, or hair).
2. After each use of the waterproof case, soak the case in fresh water for 15-30 minutes. During this time, operate all buttons several times to prevent salt buildup. Then dry the case with a lint-free cloth.
3. Do not use water to clean the inside of the waterproof case. If there is debris in the groove, use a lint-free cloth or a lens-cleaning cotton swab with a blower to remove it.
4. If the waterproof ring is dirty, remove it and clean it with clean water. After drying it with a lint-free cloth, add silicone oil to the clean waterproof ring using the following steps:
   • Take a clean plastic bag and put the waterproof ring that needs to be lubricated inside it. Then squeeze an appropriate amount of silicone oil into the bag.
   • Pinch the bag with your fingers to evenly spread the silicone oil on the waterproof ring. Then put the waterproof ring back into the groove of the waterproof case.

Note

1. Avoid storing the waterproof case in cold, hot, or humid places.
2. When not using the case for a long time, remove the battery from the case to prevent battery leakage and damage to the product.
