Memory Card

How to choose a SD card:
The package comes with a 32GB SD card. If you want a card with larger memory, here are our suggestions:

  • The card must be an SDHC or SDXC card;
  • Up to 256GB capacity;
  • The card speed should be at least Class 10;
  • The card must be a standard (full-size) SD card (32mm x 24mm), not compatible with Mini SD or Micro SD;
  • We recommend using SD cards from brands like SanDisk,Samsung, Panasonic, etc.

How to format a SD card:

  • Please save the files on the SD card to your computer first;
  • Press the ”MENU” button first, you will see ”rec resolution” on the screen; then press the “MODE” button, you will see ”Image Rotation” on the screen; next, press the “DOWN” button to find “Format” on the screen, press “POWER” button to confirm the format.

The camera can’t recognize the SD card:

  • Please buy the correct SD card as prompted and format it in the camera;

  • Confirm whether the SD card is correctly inserted, you will hear a “click” sound after it is inserted;

  • Confirm whether the SD card is unlocked, there is an unlock prompt on the side of the SD card, unlock it first then insert it into the camera;

  • Restore the camera to factory settings and insert the card again for formatting;
    To reset to factory settings: First press the “MENU” key,you will see “rec resolution” on the screen; then press the “MODE” key, you will see “Image Rotation” on the screen; next press the “DOWN” key, find “Factory Reset” on the screen, press “POWER” to confirm and complete the factory reset.

  • Take out the memory card, connect it to the computer with a card reader to format it first, then insert it into the camera to format it;

  • Try a different SD card. If it still shows that the SD card cannot be recognized, please contact customer service in time for assistance.

Battery Issues

  • The package comes with 2 batteries, and both of them are packaged in the small white box. Please take out the battery and install it correctly in the camera before using it for the first time!
  • It is recommended to charge for 4 hours when using for the first time, and subsequent charging takes about 2 hours until the charging indicator goes out (for environmental protection, we do not provide a charger, you can use a 5V1A power supply or a computer to charge the camera). If you do not use the camera for a long time, it is recommended to use up the power every three months and then charge it again to prolong the battery life;
  • We provide a 1500mAh lithium-ion battery, the usage time is about 90 minutes, the battery life will be shortened in winter due to colder weather (this is determined by the composition of lithium-ion, there is no abnormality in the camera itself, you can change a battery to solve this problem);
  • The camera supports charging while recording. If the battery is correctly inserted but the camera cannot be turned on normally, please unplug the battery and directly connect the charging cable to the power supply to charge the camera. If the camera can be turned on normally, the battery is faulty and needs to be replaced. If the camera cannot be turned on normally, please contact customer service for assistance.
Night Vision Function
  • In the recording mode, press the “POWER” button to perform night vision shooting; press the “POWER” button to exit night vision shooting. Under night vision shooting, the screen image will display in black and white. When shooting in a darker environment, it is recommended to use a fill light according to personal needs to achieve better shooting effects (supports self-purchase external 3.5mm, three-legged segment, self-powered fill light).

How to Use the Infrared Remote Control Correctly

  • The remote control can remotely turn off the camera, but it cannot remotely turn on the camera. It must be used when the camera is turned on;
  • Please pull out the insulating sheet at the bottom of the remote control before use. To extend the life of the remote control, please insert the insulating sheet after use;
  • The remote control should be directed at the camera lens and used within 5 meters of the camera.

How to Choose a Microphone

  • This product supports an external 3.5mm, three-legged segment, self-powered microphone (when using a webcam, it is recommended to choose a microphone with an output function). You can purchase it according to your personal needs.

How to Connect to a Webcam

  • Connect the camera to the computer with a USB cable, the camera will automatically turn on. Press the “UP” or “DOWN” key to select “Charging Mode”, “Mass Storage Mode”, “PC Camera” on the screen. Press the “POWER” key to select “PC Camera” to use the camera as a webcam.
    Press the “POWER” key to select “Charging Mode”, the computer can charge the camera. Press the “POWER” key to select “Mass Storage Mode”, the computer can read files in the camera and supports file transfer;

  • In the “PC Camera” interface, you can use the zoom function, other functions cannot be used;

  • If the camera cannot enter the three modes when connected to the computer, you can try a different USB cable. If the problem is still not solved after changing the USB cable, you can tell the customer service the model of the computer and the problem encountered to get a quick solution.

Screen Problems

  • In shooting mode, do not use the keys quickly, it will cause the machine to freeze;
    When the touchscreen is not sensitive, it is recommended to use your fingernail to poke the icon you want (it is easier to hold the screen with your hand);

  • If the camera screen is lit but the screen is black, please try to long press the “POWER” key to turn off the camera, and see if it can return to normal when turned on again. If not, please provide a video and describe the problem to our customer service staff to get further solutions;

  • During use, take care to protect the camera, as dropping it can easily damage the screen.

What if the Recorded Video Has No Sound

  • Turn off mute recording – press the “MENU” key, then press the “DOWN” key, find “Rec Audio” and turn it off;
  • When playing back the video (press the “MODE” key, find “Playback” and click confirm to enter video playback), you can click the zoom key to adjust the volume;
  • If you are using an external microphone, there is a decibel button on the top of the microphone, you can adjust the decibel to the maximum (such as +20dB), and the sound will be louder;
  • There is no sound in slow motion recording and time-lapse recording mode;
  • If you have checked all the above issues and still can’t hear the sound, you can contact our customer service staff for answers.

Focus/Zoom Issues

  • Our lens is fixed focus, it is recommended to shoot clear images at a distance of 1 meter from the object;
  • Our camera is 18X digital zoom, not optical zoom, it supports zooming in and out within 10 meters.
  • It does not support anti-shake. If you want to shoot more stable picture quality, it is recommended to use a tripod according to personal needs (1/4 inch interface).

How to Adjust Unclear Image Quality

  • The camera supports up to 4K@30FPS video recording.
    Press the “MODE” key, select “VIDEO” to enter the photo mode / “Slowly” to enter slow recording / “Loop” to enter loop recording / “Lapse” to enter time- lapse recording / “Auto” to enter automatic recording. Press the “MENU” key, find “Rec Resolution”, click to select “4K30FPS”, and finally press the “MENU” key to exit to the recording mode;

  • The camera supports up to 48MP photo shooting. Press the “MODE” key, select “PHOTO” to enter the photo mode, press the “MENU” key, find “Pixel Inset”, click to select “48M”, and finally press the “MENU” key to exit to the photo mode;

  • Press the “MENU” key and select “High” through “Video Quality”;

  • This product supports the pause function, you can press the “POWER” key or click the pause and play button at the bottom left of the screen to control it during video recording.

HDMI Connection

  • If the output port displays HD, it means the machine supports HDMI output. If there is no HD interface, the camera does not support HDMI output. If you want to use this function, you can contact customer service to inquire about products that support HDMI output. (You need to pause recording before connecting HDMI, and adjust the TV source to high-definition mode. After connected HDMI, the camera screen will switch to the TV and the camera screen will turn black. It will return to normal by unplugging the HD cable).
