CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS

  • The power adaptor has an input voltage of 230V Do not open or modify the power adaptor to avoid the risk of electric shocks. Check that the cable is always in good conditions.

  • To clean the product, use only a damp cloth, avoiding solvents or detergents of any kind.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS

  • The product is covered by warranty according to current national and European regulations.

    • The warranty covers manifacturing defects and faults occurred in the first 2 years from the date of purchase. In case of purchase with invoice, the warranty is limited to 1 year.
    • Damages caused by negligence or wrong use of the device are not covered by warranty.
    • The warranty is no longer effective if the item is modified or disassembled by not authorized people.
    • This warranty doesn’t necessarily envisage the product’s replacement.
    • External components, batteries, knobs, switches and any removable or subject to wear and tear parts are excluded from warranty.

SETUP AND OPERATION

TRIPOD STAND
The tripod stand TL 151S can support your procession system during use or recharge, but also when the product is not used.

WIRELESS MICROPHONE

  • Remove the cap (11) on the bottom of the handheld microphone to insert the battery (please remember to respect the correct polarities).
  • Connect the antenna (1) to the upper socket (there are two antennas in the version with dual wireless microphone)

BATTERY RECHARGE
The procession pole includes a battery requiring a monthly recharge cycle to keep maximum efficiency for a long time.

  • Make sure that the procession unit is off and put it in a suitable place. If necessary use the specific stand.

  • Connect the included adaptor to the pole’s socket (9)

  • Insert the adaptor’s plug into a 230V power source. The recharge status will be shown on the LCD display.

  • The recharge cycle will be completed in about 10 hours.

  • It is also possible to use a car’s cigarette lighter socket to give power to the procession unit.

  • It will be enough to connect the cable coming from the cigarette lighter’s socket to the side 12V socket (8). The internal polarity must be positive.

  • If you are close to a 230V power socket you can connect the procession system to it, thanks to the included adaptor, obtaining in this way an endless autonomy. To connect the adaptor to the pole use the front socket (9).

  • Never let the procession pole’s battery go completely empty

  • Use only the original charger to recharge the battery

  • The battery will be 100% performant only after 8 recharge cycles
    WARNING! ONLY FOR THE FIRST RECHARGE

    • When you recharge the battery for the first time, proceed as follows:
    • Connect the adaptor to the power source
    • If the indication RICARICA COMPLETATA (recharge completed) appears on the display, disconnect and connect again the adaptor until the display shows RICARICA BAT (battery recharge).
    • If the message ERRORE BATTERIA (battery error) appears disconnect and connect again the adaptor until the writing RICARICA BAT (battery recharge) is displayed.
    • This means that recharge has started correctly. For any further necessity contact our technical support

HORN SPEAKERS

  • Connect the two horn speakers on the upper part (2), through the specific brackets. You can adjust the speakers as you wish to obtain an ideal sound diffusion. The speakers’ connectors are to be plugged into the side sockets (3).

    • A wired microphone can be connected to the side socket (5)
    • A CD or Mp3 player or any audio “line” signal can be connected to the AUX socket of the MP3 module (4).
    • Fasten the strap to the specific rings
  • Once you have assembled all the components and with full batteries, press for two seconds the central button of the control panel. In this way you will turn on the fixture.

  • After some introduction screens, the display will show the battery charge level. This screen will automatically appear also if you don’t press any key for some seconds. This will allow you to check constantly the battery level.

  • By pressing once the central button, the first adjustable setting (total volume) will be displayed.

  • The parenthesis indicate that you are in selection mode; by pressing the side buttons you can scroll through the settings and, by clicking on the central button, you can modify them. When you confirm the settings to be modified, through the pressing of the central button, the parenthesis will disappear and the symbols + and – will appear.

  • Use the side keys to increase or reduce the level of the selected setting

  • It is possible to modify the following settings:

    • TOTAL VOLUME
      It allows to adjust the “Master” volume level (i.e the volume of the whole mixing reproduced by the horn speakers).

    • MICROPHONE
      If a microphone is connected to the side socket (5), it allows to adjust its volume level.

    • EXT I-POD
      It allows to adjust the volume level of a CD or Mp3 player, if connected to the side socket (4).

    • WIRELESS MICROPHONE 1
      It allows to adjust the wireless microphone’s volume

    • WIRELESS MICROPHONE 2
      It allows to adjust the volume lever of the second wireless microphone (only for model BM 661USB2)

    • TREBLES
      It allows to adjust the trebles’ effect on the whole mixing.

    • BASS
      It allows to adjust the bass effect on the whole mixing.

    • CONTRAST
      It allows to adjust the display’s contrast for an ideal reading in any light condition. The modification will be visible only during navigation through the menus: the device will in fact come back automatically to battery charge level’s screen and switch off the display’s backlight after some seconds it is not uses. This allows to save furtherly battery charge.
      PS: all the settings will be saved also after you have turned off the unit and will be effective when you turn it on again.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

USE OF THE WIRELESS MICROPHONE:

  • Use the switch (10) to turn on the transmitting microphone.
  • This switch has 3 positions:
    • OFF: microphone off
    • STANDBY: signal on, but microphone capsule disabled
    • ON: microphone completely ON
  • To adjust the wireless microphone’s volume level go to its menu and adjust the level by means of the side button
  • The average transmission range is 50 m. This range can be affected by sorrounding conditions. If you bought model BM 661USB2 you will have at your disposal 2 wireless transmitters that can be used simultaneously.
  • These wireless microphones can operate on 16 channels.
  • If there are interferences on a frequency or if you use more than one microphone of the same model, you can change operating frequency. The procession pole and the wireless microphone must always be set on the same frequency. To do that put the switches (12-13) of the pole and of the microphones (see picture in the next page) in the same position.
  • If you are using two microphones remember to match the switches with red label on the pole with red microphone and those with blue label on the pole with blue microphone.
  • When you turn on the wireless microphone the led will light on for an instant as a test. If the led lights on during operation it means that batteries are down and need to be replaced.

  • MP3 MODULE
    MP3 PLAYER

    • Press the button to turn on the product. The red led will light up.
    • To play Mp3 audio via USB/SD/AUX, connect the source to the related socket and use the control keys (A) to manage the tracks (forward, back, play/pause).
    • Use the same controls (V+ / V-) to adjust the volume.
