Battery information

Rob lizard requires 3 x 1.5V AAA batteries for the remote control, and 4 x 1.5V AAA for the body of Rob lizard. (Batteries are not included) Use the screwdriver to release the screws under the remote control’s battery cover. Remove the cover. Insert the batteries into the slots as per the correct polarity”+/-“. Close the cover. Tighten the screw again. Repeat process with Rob lizard.

Battery Safety Information

  • Only adults should install and replace batteries.
  • Switch toy and remote to OFF before opening battery compartments.
  • Insert batteries correctly. Match positive+ and negative- signs.
  • Alkaline batteries are recommended for best performance.
  • Rechargeable batteries are not recommended.
  • If rechargeable are used, they are only to be charged under adult supervision.
  • Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the product before they are charged.
  • Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
  • Only use batteries specified.
  • Only use batteries of the same or equivalent type that are recommended for use.
  • Do not mix different types of batteries: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadium).
  • Do not mix old and new batteries.
  • Remove the batteries during long periods of non-use.
  • Always remove exhausted batteries from toy, and dispose responisibly.
  • Battery leakage and corrosion can damage this product.
  • Dispose of batteries safely. Recycle where available.
  • Do not dispose of batteries in a fire or attempt to open the outer casing.
  • Never short-circuit the battery terminals.
  • Do not immerse battery-operated toys in water, unless toy is water proof.

How to play

Once the remote control and Robolizard have working batteries installed, Turn the switch on the remote control from OFF to ON. Turn the switch under the body of Robolizard from OFF to ON. Robolizard will make a sound and it’s eyes will light up and it will sync up with the remote control. There are 4 modes of play. To switch modes, press the red button on the back of Robolizard.

Remote Control Mode

RIC mode is the default mode of Robolizard when it is turned on. Robolizard’s eyes will light up and begin to blink periodaclly with red, green, and blue LED lights.In this mode you will use the remote control to move Robolizard forward, and turn its legs. You will also control Robolizard’s frill on it’s neck. You can open, close and shake it’s frill.

Obstacle Detection

In this mode Robolizard’s eyes will light up red and the remote control is not needed. Robolizard will move toward on its own. When it encounters a wall or obstacle, Robolizard will stop and make a sound before turning and moving on.

Motion Control

In this mode Robolizard’s eyes will light up green and the remote control is not needed. Robolizard will remain still until it senses your hand’s motion 2 – 4 inches from it’s head. Move your hand, and Robolizard will follow. If you move your hand too far, Robolizard will stop.

Sneak Attack

In this mode Robolizard’s eyes will light up blue and the remote control is not needed. Robolizard will remain still until it senses any motion. When Robolizard senses motion, it will sneak attack by making sounds and moving forward.ROBOLIZARD-17021-Remote-Control-05
