PT-11 Sensor Pad
CORDED SETUP
Step1: Connect Cable – Connect the cable onto the snap terminals. We recommend you feed through the hole for strain relief.
Step2:
plug the cable into the port at the bottom of your bed alarm monitor.
CORDLESS SETUP
Step1: Activate Transmitter – Transmitters are delivered in storage mode
to preserve battery life. To activate a PT-11 transmitter, press and hold the
button for 10 seconds until the LED remains ON.
Step 2: Connect Transmitter – Connect the transmitter onto the snap
terminals Step 3: Synch
with Alarm – Press and release the transmitter button to synch the sensor pad
with a monitor in pairing mode.
INSTALL THE PAD
Position Sensor pad – Place the sensor pad on a chair or wheelchair seat under buttocks. If chair cushion is used sensor pad must be placed on top of chair cushion directly under buttocks of user. Position Sensor pad – if you want an alarm when the patient sits up, locate the sensor pad beneath their shoulders.
If you want an alarm when the patient exits their bed, locate the alarm beneath their hips.
PRESSURE PAD TEST
Step 1 : Press sensor pad – you should hear a “beep beep” confirming it is
active
Step 2 : Release sensor pad and confirm your bed monitor alarms properly
Step 3 : If your monitor unit does not alarm :
- Check the sensor pad is properly connected to a monitor (for corded use)
- Move the monitor closer to the sensor pad or repeat the cordless setup to make sure the transmitter and the monitor are syncing correctly. (for cordless use).
Test regularly to ensure alarms are working properly.
This product uses radio frequency signals, which can be affected by building layout and construction materials. The manufacturer cannot guarantee the wireless range you get will match the estimates provided. You should test that there are no “dead areas” in your facility where alarms cannot be received.

- Risk of fire or explosion if the battery is replaced by an incorrect type.
- If the coin / button cell battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and can lead to death.
- Keep new and used batteries away from children.
- If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children.
- If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.
- Disposal of a battery into fire or a hot oven, or mechanically crushing or cutting of a battery, that can result in an explosion
