DMT-21 User Manual
POWER ON of Door Monitor Tester
– Pressing Any key of tester at least 2 sec
POWER OFF of Door Monitor Tester
– Auto shutdown. Do not press any key around 1 min.
Description
KEY1: Tag Test – Press button to test Wrist TAG and read TAG ID/SN.
KEY2: Reset Alarm – Press button to Reset the Alarm of Door Bar
KEY3: Door Test — Press button to test Door Monitor and read Door ID.
“Tag Test” MODE
The main function:
- Checking the SN / ID number of Wrist TAG
- Checking the Battery status. (Battery OK or Low battery)
- The health of TAG
Procedure:

Pressing the “TAG Test” for testing the Wrist Tag (Left side Key as Fig 1).

Put the Tag to the top right corner of the tester (<7 cm).

The LCD indicated “Tag Checking” during processing.

The Key LED is green flashing (around 100ms ON-OFF) during the tester processing.

Wait few sec.

Indicated the TAG ID and battery stage.
Example: ID: xxxx Bat OK -
The Key LED is ON in solid green when TAG and the battery is health.
– If the TAG is Low Battery, the LCD indicate ID number with “Lo Bat”.
The Key LED is ON in solid RED and the buzz is sound in 3s long beep.
– If the “No Tag” in detection range or the Tag is malfunction, the LCD
indicate “TAG ERROR”
The key LED is ON in solid RED and the buzz is sound in 3s long beep.
“Door Test” MODE
The main function:
- Checking the number of Door
- Checking the health of Door Monitor
- The Key LED is green flashing (around 100ms ON-OFF) during the tester processing.
- Wait a few seconds and indicated “Door ID: XX (Same as Door Monitor setting)
- Wait a few seconds and indicated “Alarm On Door xx ?”
- Pressing the “Door Test” key again for “YES”.
- The Door Monitor alarm is triggered
- The LCD is indicated “Common, pass” if the Tester is communicated successful with the Door Monitor.
- The DOOR Key LED is solid green if pass.
– Fail indicated:
If the tester fail communication with the Door Monitor, the LCD will be
indicated the “Commun, Fail ” , the key LED is ON in solid RED and the buzz is
sound in 3sec long beep.
“Alarm RESET” MODE
The main function:
- Reset the Alarm of Door Monitor
- Enter into Escort mode of Door Monitor
Procedure:
- Pressing the “reset alarm” Key
- The Door Bar is enter into escort mode (Center LED of Door Bar is “ON” in white).
- The tester is back to “SELECT MODE” after 10sec. User can select the “Tag TEST”, “Alarm Reset” or “Door Test” again.
TESTER LOW BAT
The tester low battery is indicated when the tester “POWER ON” or tester is
prepared to “Shut down” if the battery is less than 7.5V.
– The LCD indicated “Tester LOW BAT”
– The ALL Key LED is RED flashing (around 100ms ON-OFF)
– The Buzzer is sound ON-OFF each second
Battery installation
- The Battery is 9v type.
- Match the (+) and (–) plug into battery holder.
- Put the battery in the right position and close the cover
