Introduction

Please familiarize yourself with the mini massage device before preparing it for use or using it for the first time. To do so, please carefully read the following operating instructions and the important safety notes. Use the mini massage device only as described and for the indicated purposes. Save these instructions for use. If you pass the mini massage device on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation.

Intended use

This mini massage device including exfoliation attachment is intended for massaging individual body parts (on the back, neck, arm, leg or shoulder area) of the human body. It is also suitable for use in the shower or bath. It is not intended for use in hospitals or for commercial use. In particular, it must not be used to massage babies, infants, vulnerable persons or animals. Any use not specified above or any modification of the mini massage device is prohibited and can result in injuries and / or damage to the mini massage device. The manufacturer assumes no liability for damage due to improper use.

Important safety instructions

WARNING Non-compliance with the following instructions may cause personal injury or property damage. The following advice on safety and hazards is intended to protect your health and that of other people as well as to protect the mini massage device. Please observe these safety instructions and pass on this operating manual together with the mini massage device.

WARNING Do not use the mini massage device

on animals,
on skin that has been affected by ill-ness or is near an injury in the area of the body that is to be massaged (e.g. slipped disc, open wound),
under any circumstances for massaging around the heart if you have a heart pacemaker. If this is the case, you should also ask your doctor be-fore using it in other areas of the body,
ever on swollen, burned, inflamed or injured parts of the body or areas of skin,
on cuts, capillaries, varicose veins, acne, coupe rose, herpes or other skin diseases,
during pregnancy,
on the face (eyes), on the larynx or other sensitive body parts,
ever while you are sleeping,
after taking medications or consuming alcohol (limited perception!),
in cars,
in the genital area.
This device can be used by children over the age of 8 and by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental skills or a lack of experience or knowledge, provided that they are super-vised or have been instructed on how to use the device safely and are aware of the consequent risks of use.
Children must not play with the de-vice. There is a risk of injury.
Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children without supervision. There is a risk of injury.
This mini massage device is not in-tended for use in hospitals or for commercial use. This poses a risk of injuries and / or damage to the mini massage device.
Never open or repair the device or proper function can no longer be guaranteed. Failure to comply with this will void the warranty.
Before use, ensure that the mini mas-sage device and accessories have no visible damage. If in doubt, do not use and contact your retailer or the listed customer service address.
Under no circumstances should you open the housing.
If the mini massage device has been dropped or shows other signs of damage from being dropped, it must not be used under any circumstances.
Frequently check the mini massage device for wear or damage. If signs of wear or damage are detected or the mini massage device has been used improperly, it must first be inspected by the manufacturer before being switched on again.
Repairs to electronic devices may only be undertaken by specialists. Improper repairs may result in considerable risks for the user. Please contact customer service or an authorized retailer for repairs.
Always observe the information on start-up, cleaning and care, and storage.

Battery safety information

DANGER TO LIFE! Keep batteries out of the reach of children. Seek immediate medical attention if swallowed!
Ingestion may cause burns, perforation of soft tissue and death. Severe burns may occur within 2 hours of swallowing batteries.
EXPLOSION HAZARD!
Never recharge disposable batteries. Never short-circuit and / or open batteries. This could cause batteries to overheat, catch fire or explode.
Never throw batteries into fire or water.
Do not exert mechanical stress on batteries.

Risk of battery leakage

Avoid extreme conditions and temperatures which may affect batteries, e.g. radiators / direct sunlight.
If batteries have leaked, do not allow the chemicals to come into contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes! Flush the affected areas immediately with clean water and seek medical attention!
WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES!Batteries that have leaked or become damaged can cause burns upon contact with the skin. Therefore wear suitable protective gloves in this case.
In the event of a battery leak, immediately remove the batteries from the product to prevent damage.
Only use the same type of batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries!
Remove the batteries if the product will not be used for an extended period.

Risk of product damage

Only use the specified battery type!
Insert the batteries according to the polarity marking (+) and (-) on the battery and the product.
Clean the contacts on the battery and in the battery compartment with a dry, lint-free cloth or cotton bud before in-serting the batteries!
Immediately remove drained batteries from the product.

Before Use

Remove the packaging materials.
Ensure that the appliance and batteries are not damaged.

Inserting / replacing batteries

Open the battery compartment by removing the battery compartment cover 4 in the direction shown in Figure A.
Remove the used batteries, if present.
Insert 2 AAA type batteries into the battery compartment. Ensure the correct polarity. This is shown in the battery compartment.
Replace the battery compartment cover 4 on the battery compartment and close it by turning the battery compartment cover 4 in the direction shown in Figure B.

Initial use

Attaching / switching on / off the exfoliation attachment

Attaching the exfoliation attachment:

Choose a side of the exfoliation attachment 2 : exfoliation side 2b (see Fig. D) or cleaning side 2c (see Fig. E).
Attach the exfoliation attachment 2 with the chosen side 2b 2c facing outwards by attaching the attachment loop 2a to the 4 retaining hooks 3 .
Note: Do not use additional chemical agents, oils or similar substances.
Note: For hygiene reasons, the exfoliation attachment 2 should only be used by one person.

Switching on:

Press the ON / OFF button 1 to switch on the mini massage device.

Switching off:

Press the ON / OFF button 1 again to switch the mini massage device off.

Massaging

Hold or gently move the mini massage device on the chosen body part.

Cleaning and care

Clean the mini massage device after use with a soft, slightly damp cloth. For more stubborn dirt you may also apply a weak soap solution to the cloth.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents.

Cleaning the exfoliation attachment 2 :

Clean the exfoliation attachment 2 with water and a non-abrasive cleaning agent.
The water temperature should be a maximum of 60 °C.
Do not use fabric softener.

Storage

Protect the mini massage device from impacts, moisture, dust, chemicals and sudden changes in temperature and keep it away from sources of heat (ovens, heating radiators).
If the mini massage device is not to be used for some time, store it in the original packaging in a dry environment.

Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste separation, which are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with following meaning: 1–7: plastics / 20–22: paper and fiberboard / 80–98: composite materials.
Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.
To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in the house-hold waste. Information on collection points and their opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.

Faulty or drained batteries must be recycled in accordance with Directive 2006/66/EC and its amendments. Return the batteries and/or the product to the recycling facilities provided.

Improper disposal of batteries can harm the environment!
Never dispose of batteries in your household waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste regulations. The chemical symbols of the heavy metals are: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. Therefore, you should dispose of used batteries through your local collection facilities.

Warranty / service

We provide a 3-year warranty covering faults in materials or manufacture of the mini massage device from the purchase date.

The warranty does not cover:

Damage due to improper use.
Wear parts.
Damage caused by the customer.
If the device has been opened by an unauthorized repair shop.

This warranty does not affect the customer‘s legal rights. The customer must provide proof of purchase in order for any warranty claims within the warranty period to be honored. The warranty claim must be filed with MGG Electro GmbH, Düsseldorf, Germany within 3 years from the date of purchase.
