Basics
General information
Hei-PROCESS is a user-friendly, cloud-based application that connects
laboratory equipment, enabling control and optimization of laboratory
processes.
The complexity and functional scope of the application depends on the
individually selected solution (Hei-PROCESS Core or Hei-PROCESS Expert).
The laboratory equipment is connected via a so-called OSPIN gateway.
Processes are created, monitored and controlled through any device with
internet browser and internet connection.
This document describes the procedure for logging into the system and the
basic system functions.
All software functions – where necessary – are described in detail in the
extensive online help of OSPIN in the browser window. In addition, a support
function is available to the user, not only for the OSPIN but also for the
Heidolph system components.
Detailed information on the hardware link is given in the operating
instructions for the OSPIN gateway and the operating instructions for the
Heidolph devices.
Logging into the system
After the hardware installation, use the login data provided by OSPIN to log
into the system. These data are sent to the user after acquiring a license
from
Heidolph Instruments :
➜ Make sure that all the required and supported devices are connected to the
assigned OSPIN gateway via the respective RS232 port.
➜ Make sure that all OSPIN gateways involved are connected to the internet and
all connected laboratory equipment is switched on.
OSPIN App
The control of the OSPIN gateway and the connected devices or setups is always
realized via the OSPIN app. Start the internet browser on your device and open
the URL https://ospin-app.com.
