Tips and tricks for best results

  • We recommend shaking/turning the food after about half the time for best results. When preparing the food, also follow the manufacturer’s instructions on the food packaging.
  • The programme duration given in the following recipe suggestions are only guidelines. You can vary them depending on the quantity of food to be prepared and according to your individual taste.

Food| Temperature| Duration approx.| Recommended quantity| Notes
---|---|---|---|---

Fish, breaded
(deep-frozen)| 180°C| 13 – 18
min.| up to 500 g| spraying with some oil and turning once is recommended
Mini pizza (deep-frozen)| 180°C| 10 – 20

Fresh pastry| 160 / 180°C| 10 – 40
min.| —| Muffins need approx. 12 minutes, shortcrust pastry up to 40 minutes

  • Food that can be prepared in the oven can also successfully be prepared in the air fryer, but the preparation time is significantly shorter here, often in the range of 20 to 30 percent.
  • The colder the food, the longer the preparation time, but this is only slightly longer and – compared to a conventional oven – even significantly less than in the oven.
  • The quality of the ingredients is always decisive for good success. Evenly sized pieces can be fried better and above all more evenly, this is especially true for French fries and chicken nuggets.
  • We recommend to sprinkle all breaded dishes and French fries of all kinds with a little oil before deep-frying. An oil sprayer (also called an “oil atomiser”) in combination with refined vegetable oil is ideal for this.
  • The food can be shaken vigorously, because good mixing is clearly advantageous for the cooking result.
  • Food should only be salted after deep-frying, because salt draws moisture from the food and increases the risk of drying out the food.
  • Never cover the frying rack completely with food or with baking paper, as otherwise the air circulation is no longer guaranteed, which impairs the cooking process.

Disposal/recycling

Packaging material
Do not simply throw the packaging material away but recycle it. Deliver paper, cardboard and corrugated cardboard to waste paper collection points. Also put plastic packaging material and foils into the specifi c collection containers.

The printed or embossed markings indicate the materials whichwere used: PE stands for polyethylene (code 02 means high-density PE, 04 stands for low- density PE), PS stands for polystyrene and CPE for chlorinated polyethylene. PAP 20 means corrugated cardboard and PAP 21 other cardboard. All plastics are thermoplastics which are very easy and effi cient to produce.
They are also very easy to recycle and therefore can even have a smaller ecological footprint than comparable cardboard packaging.
Disposal information
According to the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (2012/19/ EU), this product may not be disposed of with other household waste at the end of its service life. Therefore please submit it e.g. at a municipal collection point (e.g. recycling center) according to the laws of your country of residence for the recycling of electrical and electronic appliances.
