GENERATION LIGHTING AP1202 Dosinia Pendant

Product Information: Dosinia Pendant

The Dosinia Pendant is a lighting fixture designed for installation in damp locations. It is intended to be installed using NEC compliant junction boxes. The product is manufactured by Generation Lighting and comes in three models: AP1202, AP1224, and AP1213.

Product Features:

  • Includes mounting plate, canopy screw collar loop, canopy loop, quick link, junction box threaded nipple, collar nut chain, fixture loop, upper stem, cap nut arm plate, arm, lamp, lower stem, socket assembly, cap nut, and shade
  • Model AP1224 includes two stems, while models AP1202 and AP1213 include only one stem

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Feed the fixture wires through the lower/upper stems and assemble them by screwing them together. Then, screw them to the socket assembly. Note: Model AP1224 includes two stems and Models AP1202/AP1213 include only one stem.
  2. Feed the fixture wires through the arm plate and fixture loop. Place the arm plate onto the stem and secure them together by screwing the fixture loop onto the stem.
  3. Secure the top of the arms to the arm plate using the cap nuts. Then, secure the bottom of the arms to the shade using the cap nuts.
  4. Screw the lamps into the sockets. Refer to the label on the lamp socket for Max Wattage Information.
  5. If necessary, screw the short end of the threaded nipple tightly onto the mounting plate. Then, screw the screw collar and canopy loop onto the threaded nipple.
  6. Secure the mounting plate to the junction box.
  7. Determine the desired height of the fixture and remove a portion of the chain from the bottom by opening a link with pliers.
  8. Install a quick link to the bottom end of the chain, then secure the link onto the fixture loop.
  9. Unscrew the collar nut from the screw collar, then install the collar nut and the canopy onto the chain (in that order).
  10. Install a quick link onto the remaining end of the chain, then secure the quick link onto the canopy loop.
  11. Weave the cord through the chain, canopy loop, and canopy. Thread it through the threaded nipple and out of the junction box. Trim the cord, leaving enough to make electrical connections.
  12. Connect the fixture to a suitable ground in accordance with local electrical codes.
  13. Connect the white fixture wire (square and/or rigid) to the neutral power line wire using a wire nut.
  14. Connect the black fixture wire (round and/or smooth) to the hot power line wire using a wire nut.
  15. Neatly place all the wires into the junction box, place the canopy onto the mounting plate, and secure it in place by screwing the collar nut tightly onto the screw collar.

GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION

These fixtures are intended to be installed utilizing NEC compliant junction boxes.
This product is safety listed for damp locations.
This instruction shows a typical installation.

CAUTION – RISK OF FIRE
This product must be installed in accordance with the applicable installation code by a person familiar with the construction and operation of the product and the hazards involved.
Use minimum 90°c supply conductors.

Install the Fixture

  1. Feed the fixture wires through the lower/upper stems, assemble them by screwing them together, and screw them to the socket assembly. NOTE: Model AP1224 includes two stems and Models AP1202/AP1213 include only one stem.
  2. Feed the fixture wires through the arm plate and fixture loop, then place the arm plate onto the stem and secure them together by screwing the fixture loop onto the stem.
  3. Secure the top of the arms to the arm plate using the cap nuts, then secure the bottom of the arms to the shade using the cap nuts.
  4. Screw the lamps into the sockets. Refer to the label on the lamp socket for Max Wattage Information.
