Do not use the Wave Solo above the waist during pregnancy. Do not get hair caught in any moving part of the Wave Solo. Do not use the Wave Solo above your Adam’s apple or C4. Do not get the Wave Solo wet. Only clean the Wave Solo with a magic eraser or a lightly damp towel. Do not block the vents of the motor. Never attempt to disassemble the Wave Solo. Never store the Wave Solo at temperatures above 40°C/104°F. Only charge the Wave Solo when the ambient temperature is between 0°C/32°F and 40°C/104°F. Never expose the Wave Solo to water. For long-term storage, the Wave Solo should be fully charged. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any diseases. BEFORE USING OR CHARGING THE Wave Solo, READ ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS AND CAUTIONARY MARKINGS IN THIS MANUAL AND ON THE Wave Solo. When using the Wave Solo, these basic precautions should always be followed including:

  1. USE ONLY AS INSTRUCTED. Use the Wave Solo as described in this Wave Solo Instruction Manual. Do not carry out any maintenance other than what is shown in the Wave Solo Instruction Manual or advised by Therabody.
  2. NOT FOR CHILDREN. The Wave Solo is not intended for use by young children or persons with reduced physical, sensory or reasoning capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction by a responsible person. Do not allow the Wave Solo to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the Wave Solo.
  3. REDUCING RISK OF INJURY. Charge the Wave Solo by plugging cable included in the package on your USB AC adapter of choice. Wave Solo can also be charged with a regular USB-C charger certified by a competent body. Do not use an AC adapter that is not certified or that has received a sharp blow, been dropped, or damaged in any way.
  4. CHARGING LOCATIONS. The Wave Solo should be charged indoors in a well ventilated, dry location. Do not charge the Wave Solo outdoors, in a bathroom or within 10 feet (3.1 meters) of a bathtub, or pool. Do not use the Wave Solo on wet surfaces and do not expose the device to mois- ture, rain, or snow. Do not use the Wave Solo in the presence of explosive atmospheres (gaseous fumes, dust, or flammable materials). Sparks may be generated, possibly causing a fire.
  5. DO NOT OVERCHARGE. Do not leave the Wave Solo connected to the adapter for more than an hour after the Wave Solo has been fully charged. The Wave Solo includes a protection system to avoid the risk of overcharging. However, overcharging the Wave Solo may reduce its life over time.
  6. DO NOT BURN OR INCINERATE THE Wave Solo. The internal battery may explode, causing personal injury or damage. Toxic fumes and materials are created when the battery is burned.
  7. DO NOT CRUSH, DROP, OR DAMAGE THE Wave Solo charging cable. Do not use a charging cable that has received a sharp blow, been dropped, run over, or damaged in any way.
  8. BATTERY CHEMICALS CAUSE SERIOUS BURNS. Never allow the internal battery to come into contact with the skin, eyes, or mouth. If a damaged battery leaks chemicals, use rubber or neoprene gloves to dispose of it. If skin is exposed to battery fluids, wash with soap and water then rinse with vinegar. If eyes are exposed to battery chemicals, immediately rinse with water for 20 minutes and seek medical attention. Remove and dispose of contaminated clothing.
  9. DO NOT OPERATE UNDER BLANKET AND PILLOW. Excessive heating can occur and cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
  10. STORING THE Wave Solo. Store in a cool, dry place. Do not store the Wave Solo where temperatures may exceed 40°C/104°F such as in direct sunlight, in a vehicle, or metal building during the summer.
  11. DISPOSING OF BATTERIES. The internal Theragun lithium-ion batteries for the Wave Solo are more environmentally friendly than some other types of batteries (e.g, nickel-cadmium). Always dispose of the Wave Solo according to government, regional, and local regulations. Contact a recycling agency in your area for recycling locations. Even discharged batteries contain some energy. Before disposing, use electrical tape to cover the Wave Solo’s 12V connector to prevent the battery from shorting, which could cause a fire or explosion.
  12. DO NOT DISASSEMBLE. Disassembly or incorrect reassembly may result in the risk of electric shock, fire, or exposure to battery chemicals. The warranty will be void if the Wave Solo is disassembled or if any parts have been removed.
  13. SERVICE. If the Wave Solo is not working properly, has received a sharp blow, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, do not use and contact Therabody by emailing info@therabody.com for repair or service. Do not attempt to repair or disassemble the Wave Solo, which may result in an electric shock or fire.
  14. DO NOT USE WHILE BATHING OR IN THE SHOWER, TUB, OR SINK. Do not place or store the Wave Solo where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink. Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid. Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into water. Unplug immediately.
  15. THERMAL LIMITER. The Wave employs an automatic reset thermal limiter that shuts off the Wave Solo to prevent overheating and fire.
