Taking measurements:
Aiming the infrared thermometer at an object and press the button next to the LCD display. The temperature measurement starts and you can read the result on LCD display. The meter will turn off automatically after 15 seconds when button is released.

Measurement tips:
If the surface of an object to be measured is highly, please apply masking tape or flat black paint to the surface to improve the accuracy of the measurement.
To switch between the temperature display formats °C and °F, press with a sharp object into the small opening of the °C/°F button.

Battery replacement

A flashing battery symbol on LCD display indicates a low battery level. Please change the batteries accordingly. Remark: Remove screws under the thermometer in order to replace battery and insert screws again after replacement.
