IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING
- Use close supervision when the appliance is used by, on, or near children or individuals with certain disabilities.
- Use appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. Only use attachments recommended by the manufacturer.
- Never operate the appliance if it is not working properly, has been dropped or damaged, or dropped into water. Return the appliance to a service center for examination and repair.
- Do not use the appliance with teeth missing from the blades, as injury may result. Before each use, make certain the blades are aligned properly and oiled.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS TROUBLESHOOTING
There are several things to look for if your trimmer fails to operate:
- Be sure the trimmer is turned ON.
- Make sure that the battery is properly placed in the battery compartment. Test the battery to be sure it is working.
- Check the blades to see if they are clogged with hair clippings; if so, use a cleaning brush to remove hair.
- If the trimmer still fails to operate, take or send it to a Service Center (see warranty procedure and addresses).

DEVICE PRODUCTION DATE
The production date is indicated on the device itself (in the serial
number) after «S/N», in the format: MMYYYYXXXXXXXXX, where MM is the month of
production, YYYY is the year of production.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
- To insert battery, remove battery compartment cover at the bottom of the unit, turn battery compartment cover-clockwise until the «I» mark aligns with the «arrow» mark, then lift the battery compartment cover gently.
- Insert one AAA alkaline battery, positive end up. (Alkaline batteries will ensure the best performance and longest life for your device). If you are not going to use the device for a long period of time, or if the battery is dead, remove the battery from the device. Remove used batteries promptly. This will increase the life of your trimmer.
- After inserting the battery, install the battery compartment cover on its place.
- Now the device is ready to be used.
*Do not use the device in a shower. To clean simply rinse trimmer blade under faucet. - Move On/Off switch to turn the trimmer On.
- When you are finished using the trimmer slide the On/Off switch back to turn off the trimmer.
- Always use the correct size and the most suitable battery class for intended use.
- Clean the battery contacts as well as the device contacts before installing the battery.
- Ensure the battery is installed correctly with regard to polarity (+ and -).
- Remove the battery from the device if it will not be used for a long time.
- Remove used batteries promptly.
GETTING STARTED
TO TRIM YOUR NOSE AND EAR HAIR
Attach the nose and ear trimmer head to the trimmer handle. Turn the device
on. Gently insert trimmer head into the nostril or ear. Gently move trimmer in
and out of the nostril or ear to remove unwanted hair. Avoid inserting the
trimmer more than 0.7 cm to ensure safe trimming.
TAKING CARE OF YOUR TRIMMER
BLADE CARE
Because the trimmer blades are precision made for a very special use, they
should always be handled with care. Each time you finish using the trimmer,
take a cleaning brush and brush away any loose hair that has collected in the
blades, then rinse blades under water only and store the trimmer in its
storage stand until the next use.
To promote the long life of the appliance, use your trimmer only for the
purpose intended by the manufacturer.
TO CLEAN YOUR TRIMMER
Make sure trimmer is off.
- To remove the trimmer head for cleaning, turn the head counterclockwise until the «I» mark aligns with the «arrow» mark, then lift the head gently.
- Only rinse the head under water. For proper functioning of the device, the trimmer`s body can not touch or be immersed in water.
- After cleaning, make sure to shake dry the head before replacing it to the body.
- To reassemble the head onto the body, align the «I» mark on the head with the «arrow» mark on the body and then turn clock-wise until the «I» mark aligns with the «circle» mark on the body.
PRESERVING THE BATTERIES
If you don’t use the trimmer for long time, you must take off the battery from the battery compartment. Do not expose the nose trimmer to temperatures higher than 50°C for extended periods of time.
ENVIRONMENTAL NOTICE
This product contains batteries. In the interest of protecting the
environment, please do not dispose of the product and used batteries in the
household waster at the end of its useful life. Disposal can take place at a
Service Centre or at appropriate collection points provided in your country.
Warranty conditions
The plant guarantees normal operation of the product within 12 months from the
date of the sale, provided that the consumer complies with the rules of
operation and care provided by this Manual. Service life of the product is 3
years.
In order to avoid any misunderstanding we kindly ask you to carefully study
the Owner’s Manual, the terms of warranty, and check the correctness of
filling the Warranty Card. The Warranty Card is valid only if the following
information is correctly and clearly stated: model, serial number of the
product, date of sale, clear seals of the company-seller, signature of the
buyer. The model and serial number of the product must correspond to those
specified in the Warranty Card.
If these terms are violated, and if the information specified in the Warranty Card is changed, erased or rewritten, the Warranty Card is considered invalid. Setup and installation (assembly, connection, etc.) of the appliance are described in the attached documentation; they can be carried out both by the user, and by specialists having the necessary qualification sent by USC or selling companies (on a paid basis). In this case, the person (the institution) installing the appliance shall be responsible for the correctness and quality of installation (setup). Please pay attention to the importance of the correct installation of the appliance, both for its reliable operation, and for obtaining warranty and free service. Require the installation specialist to enter all the necessary information about the installation in the Warranty Card.
In case of failure of the appliance during the warranty period by the fault of the manufacturer, the owner is entitled to free warranty repair upon presentation of the correctly filled Warranty Card together with the appliance in the factory configuration packed in the original packaging to the warranty workshop or the place of its purchase. Satisfaction of the customer’s claim due to the fault of the manufacturer shall be made in accordance with the law «On Protection of Consumers’ Rights». In the case of warranty repair the warranty period shall be extended for the period of repair and shipment.
WARRANTY CARD
Dear Buyer! Congratulations on your purchase of the ARDESTO brand appliance,
which was designed and manufactured in accordance with the highest quality
standards, and we thank you for choosing this particular instrument.
We ask you to keep the coupon during the warranty period. When purchasing a
product, require a full warranty card.
- Warranty service is carried out only if there is a correctly and clearly filled original warranty card, which indicates: product model, date of sale, serial number, warranty service period, and the seller’s seal.
- The service life of household appliances is 3 years.
- The product is intended for consumer use. When using the product in commercial activities, the seller / manufacturer does not bear warranty obligations, after-sales service is performed on a paid basis.
- Warranty repair is carried out within the period specified in the warranty card for the product in an authorized service center on the conditions and terms determined by applicable law.
- The product is withdrawn from the warranty in case of violation by the consumer of the operating rules set forth in the instruction manual.
- The product is removed from warranty service in the following cases:
- misuse and non-consumer use;
- mechanical damage;
- damage caused by the ingress of foreign objects, substances, liquids, insects;
- damage caused by natural disasters (rain, wind, lightning, etc.), fire, domestic factors (excessive humidity, dust, aggressive environment, etc.)
- damage caused by non-compliance of power and cable network parameters with state standards and other similar factors;
- when operating equipment in the power supply network with a missing single ground loop;
- in case of violation of seals installed on the product;
- lack of serial number of the device, or inability to identify it.
- The warranty does not cover consumables and accessories, as well as filters, shelves, drawers, stands and other containers for storing products.
- The warranty period is 12 months from the date of sale.
Tear-off maintenance tickets are provided by an authorized service center.
The completeness of the product is checked. I have read the terms of the
warranty service, no complaints.
