GETTING STARTED/ FIRST TIME USE

– Press and hold the Reset Button until digits show up on the display, activating the pedometer.
– If LCD is showing abnormal characters or the screen freezes and/or pedometer not counting steps, please perform a ‘SYSTEM RESET. SEE SECTION: PERFORMING A SYSTEM RESET.

STEP COUNT FUNCTION

The 3D sensor Accelerometer counts steps when worn in any position, including inside your shirt pocket.

The step count will begin once motion is detected.

10 STEPS ERROR CORRECTION

To eliminate accidental movements as steps, this pedometer will start counting steps after ten steps are detected. The previous nine steps will be included.

IMPROPER STEP COUNTING

The pedometer may not count steps correctly in the following conditions:

-Irregular motion such as swinging and vibrating

-Inconsistent walking pace

Back Light

Press the Reset button once to turn on the back light for 3 seconds.

Do not press and hold the RESET button longer than 5 seconds as this will reset the step count to ‘0’.

RESETTING THE STEP COUNTER

To reset the step count digits back to zero, simply press and hold the RESET button at the back of the unit for 5 seconds until the display shows the digit ‘0’.

CHARGING THE BATTERY

The pedometer has a built-in rechargeable battery inside. To charge the battery, simply follow the procedure below:
– Remove End Cap from the unit.

– Connect the USB plug to a computer or USB power adaptor.
– The LCD Backlight will turn ON to indicate it is charging.

– The LCD Backlight will turn OFF once the unit is fully charged.
– Unplug the unit and put the End Cap back onto the pedometer.
– One full charge: The pedometer can function for up to 3 months.

PERFORMING A SYSTEM RESET

Perform a SYSTEM RESET action in the following situations:
– When the LCD digits become unrecognizable or dim.
-When pressing the key has no action.

Use a sharp object such as a paper clip and insert it into the hole and press down on the System Reset button until the digits on the LCD display becomes ‘88888’. This will reset the pedometer back to its default setting and the LCD display will clear the current step count back to ‘0’.

Detachable Belt Clip
a. Attaching the pedometer to the belt clip

– Slide the lower part of the pedometer into the lower part of the belt clip.

– Press the top part of the pedometer (above the LCD display) and snap it into the belt clip.

b. Detaching the pedometer from the belt clip

– Use your left hand and hold the pedometer with the belt clip like the drawing shown. Make sure the pedometer with the lanyard hole side is pointing upward.
– Use your right-hand thumb and index finger to grab the top part of the pedometer. Twist the pedometer towards you (like the arrow direction shown)
