SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
In order to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or any other injury, follow basic safety precautions applied when using any electrical device, including the following:
- Read this instruction manual carefully, even if you are familiar with the appliance. Keep the manual for future reference.
- Before connecting the appliance to power supply socket, make sure the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the voltage in the power supply socket.
- Product intended for household use only.
- Do not use the product for purposes different from displayed in this operating manual.
- Clean and store this appliance in accordance to instructions listed in “Cleaning” and “Storage” section.
- ALWAYS turn off the device:
- if it’s not operating correctly,
- if there’s an uncommon voice when using,
- before disassembling the device,
- before cleaning,
- when not in use.
- When you disconnect the power cord of the appliance, grasp and pull the plug, not the cord/cable.
- This appliance may be used by children who are above 8 years old and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, if they are supervised and guided by a person who is responsible for their safety in a cautious manner, and all the safety precautions are understood and followed. Children should not play with this device. Children should not perform cleaning and servicing of the device unsupervised.
- Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
- Use only the included USB charging cable to charge the appliance.
- Keep the appliance and its cord/cable away from heat, water, moisture, sharp edges and any other factor which may damage the appliance or its cord.
- Make sure the power cord does not touch any hot or sharp elements.
- Use only authorized accessories.
- DO NOT use this appliance if the cord or the plug is damaged, or the appliance is broken.
- Do not attempt to repair this appliance yourself. In case of damage, contact with an authorized service point for checkup/repair. Never disassemble this appliance.
IMPORTANT!
- Do not handle the appliance with wet hands when it is connected to power supply.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
- THE APPLIANCE MAY BE USED UNDER SHOWER.
- Do not place or store the appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
- Do not reach for the appliance that has fallen into water. Unplug it immediately.
- The appliance is intended for shaving only facial hair.
This product is water-resistant based on the IPX5 rating, which tests resistance against water jests at a maximum pressure of 12,5 l/min. Despite this classification, your device is not impervious to water damage in any situation.
The device is electrically safe and is designed for use in the bathroom- it is suitable for cleaning under running water but it is not meant to be used underneath the water.
Product Overview
CHARGING
Notes:
- Prior to charging, make sure the appliance is turned off.
- Make sure to fully charge the appliance before first use.
- It takes about 90 minutes to fully charge the appliance what provides about 60 minutes of run time.
- The appliance may become warm during charging/ operation. It is a normal behavior.
- Connect one plug of the USB charging cable to the AC charger (not included); connect the other plug to the appliance’s charging socket.
- When the appliance is charging, red charging indicator is on.
- When the appliance is fully charged, green indicator is on.
- Disconnect the USB charging cable from the appliance and AC charger.
Note: When the battery level is low, red indicator flashes.
ATTACHING AND REMOVING THE COMBS
Notes:
- Make sure that the appliance is turned off when attaching or removing the combs.
- The set includes three combs, each of them having different cutting lengths: 1 mm, 3 mm and 5 mm.
- Attach the comb by pushing it onto the blade until you hear a click.
- Remove the comb by pushing its ridge upwards or downwards.
OPERATION
- Press the on/off button to turn on the appliance (green indicator is on).
- Start trimming. The appliance allows the user to trim, style or shave facial hair:
- TRIM: Use the appliance with the comb attached. Slide the razor close to the skin. Trim your beard to a desired length.
- STYLE: Use the appliance without the comb attached. Precise blade allows to create sharp lines and shape facial hair.
- SHAVE: Use the appliance without the comb attached. Due to the double-sided blade, you can shave in any direction.
- Do not press the razor too hard. To achieve best shaving effects, go against the hair growth.
- When using the appliance is finished, press the on/off button to turn off the appliance.
- If the appliance was used with the comb attached, remove and clean the comb and the appliance as described in the “Cleaning” section below.
CLEANING
General
- Do not immerse the appliance in water.
- The blade may be rinsed under running water.
- Do not use any abrasives or chemical agents to clean this product.
- Clean main body of the appliance with a soft and slightly damp cloth.
- Clean the appliance after each use. Regular cleaning guarantees better trimming performance.
- Make sure the appliance is turned off and disconnected from power supply.
- Clean the blade and the combs using the brush or rinse them under running water.
- Make sure to wipe the blade and combs dry before next use
STORAGE
- Before storing the appliance, make sure it is clean, dry and disconnected from the power supply.
- Store the appliance in a dry, cool place, out of the reach of children.
BLADE REPLACEMENT
The lifespan of the blade is approximately 4 months. When shaving performance reduces, please replace the blade with a new one (whole head is replaceable). The blade is available to be bought from the online store teesa. pl or rebelelectro.com. Always replace the blade with the original Teesa blade.
- Lifespan of the blade depends on the length and type of the growth as well as the frequency of use.
To replace the head, first pull the worn head out of the appliance and then push the new one onto the appliance until it locks in place.
