Product Information
The Oslo Island pendant (model number 990P66160-OSL) is a lighting fixture designed for installation in damp locations. It is available in both incandescent and LED versions. The incandescent version can be dimmed using a standard incandescent dimmer, while the LED version requires a LED dimmer. This product should be installed using NEC compliant junction boxes. Product Usage Instructions
- If necessary, screw the threaded nipple tightly onto the mounting plate.
- Secure the mounting plate to the junction box.
- Determine the desired height or look of the fixture using the provided stems. Feed the fixture wires through the stems and assemble them by screwing them together. Then, screw the stem assemblies onto the top of the fixture.
- For standard ceilings: Feed the fixture wires through the conversion screws, canopy, plate, washers, and nuts. Screw the conversion screws onto the stems and secure all parts together by tightening the hex nuts and washers onto the conversion screws.
- For sloped ceilings: Feed the fixture wires through the link and loops, then screw the links and loops to the stems. Place the canopy and plate over the threaded nipple.
- Place the spacer and shade over the socket and onto the shade base. Secure in place by screwing the collar nut onto the socket. Repeat for remaining shades.
- Screw the lamps into the sockets. Refer to the label on the socket for Max Wattage Information.

GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
These fixtures are intended to be installed utilizing NEC compliant junction boxes. This product is safety listed for damp locations. Incandescent version may be dimmed with a standard incandescent dimmer. LED version may be dimmed with a LED dimmer. Consult lamp manufacturer for additional information. This product must be installed in accordance with the applicable installation
code by a person familiar with the construction and operation of the product
and the hazards involved. Use minimum 90°C supply conductors
Install the Fixture
- If necessary, screw the threaded nipple tightly onto the mounting plate.
- Secure the mounting plate to the junction box.
- Determine the wanted height or look of the fixture with the provided stems, feed the fixture wires through the stems and assemble them by screwing them together, then screw the stem assemblies onto the top of the fixture.
- For standard ceilings: Feed the fixture wires through the conversion screws, canopy, plate, washers and nuts, then screw the conversion screws onto the stems and secure all parts together by tightening the hex nuts and washers onto the conversion screws.
- For sloped ceilings: Feed the fixture wires through the links and loops, then screw the links and loops to the stems. Place the canopy and plate onto the links and loops and tighten the hex nuts and washers to secure in place.
- Connect the fixture to a suitable ground in accordance to local electrical codes.
- Connect the white fixture wire (square and/or rigid) to the neutral power line wire with a wire nut.
- Connect the black fixture wire (round and/or smooth) to the hot power line wire with a wire nut.
- Neatly place all the wires into the junction box, place the canopy onto the threaded nipple, and secure it in place by screwing the cap nut onto the threaded nipple.
- Place the spacer and shade over the socket and onto the shade base, then secure in place by screwing the collar nut onto the socket. Repeat for remaining shades.
- Screw the lamps into the sockets. Refer to the label on the socket for Max Wattage Information.
