They contain important information concerning safety, use, and disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all of the safety information and instructions for use. Only use the product as described and for the specified applications. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation with it.
Intended use
This product is intended to make candy floss. This product is not suitable for commercial use . Any other use not mentioned in these instructions may cause damage to the product or create a serious risk of injury. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damages caused by improper use.
Scope of delivery
After unpacking the product, check if the delivery is complete and if all parts are in good condition .
Remove all packing materials before use.

Never leave children unsupervised with the packaging material. The packaging material represents the danger of suffocation. Children frequently underestimate the dangers and always keep children away from the packaging material .
DANGER! Risk of burns! Do not touch the product while in use. During use the product becomes hot.
DANGER! Fire hazard! The product should not come into contact or be covered with easily flammable materials, like curtains, textiles, and the like. Always ensure sufficient safety distance to flammable materials .
DANGER! Risk of electric shock! Do not attempt to repair the product yourself. In case of malfunction, repairs are to be conducted by qualified personnel only .
WARNING! Risk of electric shock! Do not immerse the electrical parts of the product in water or other liquids. Never hold the product under running water.
CAUTION!** Risk of electric shock! Never use a damaged product. Disconnect the product from the power supply and contact your retailer if it is damaged.

  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
  • This product can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the product and its power cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
  • Before connecting the product to the power supply, check that the voltage and current rating corresponds with the power supply details shown on the product rating label.
  • To avoid damaging the power cord, do not squeeze, bend or chafe it on sharp edges. Keep it away from hot surfaces and open flames as well.
  • Lay out the power cord in such a way that no unintentional pulling or tripping over is possible.
  • Do not use the product with wet hands or while standing on a wet floor. Do not touch the power plug with wet hands.
  • The product is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or a separate remote-control system.
  • Make sure all the parts of the product are completely dry before operating the product.
  • Should the product fall into the water, unplug the power plug first before reaching into the water.
  • Do not open the product’s casing under any circumstances.
  • Do not insert any foreign objects into the inside of the product. Do not pull the power plug out of the electrical outlet by the power cord and do not wrap the power cord around the product. Connect the power plug to an easily reachable electrical outlet so that in case of an emergency the product can be unplugged immediately.
  • Do not touch the moving parts. Keep fingers, hair, clothing, and utensils away from all moving parts.
  • Always disconnect the product from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling, or cleaning.
  • Make sure that the location planned for the usage of the product is well-ventilated.
  • Place the product on heat-resistant surfaces only. Do not place on carpets, bedding, towels, etc.
  • Should unusual noise, smell, smoke or other malfunctions arise during use, switch the product off and unplug it from the power socket.

CAUTION! Risk of injury!

  • Ensure that it is not possible for anyone to trip over or to get caught up in or step on the power cord.
  • The sugar container 2] becomes very hot and rotates very quickly. Do not touch the sugar container 2] with parts of your body or with other items while the product is working or cooling down.
  • Switch off the product and disconnect from the supply before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
  • No action is needed from users to shift the product between 50 and 60 Hz. The product adapts itself for both 50 and 60 Hz.

Before use

Unpacking

  • Remove the packaging. Check if all parts are complete.
  • Clean the product before first use (see “Cleaning and care”). Dry all parts thoroughly.

Place the base unit 1] on stable flat ground . Avoid rugged surfaces to let the suction cups 12] secure the base unit 1] position .
A. Place bowl 3] onto the base unit 1].
B. Turn the bowl 3] counter-clockwise until it is secured in place.
C. Place the splash guard 4] on the bowel 3].
D. Align the edges of the splash guard 4] and the bowel 3]. Secure both parts together with the locking ring 5] .
E. Place the sugar container 2] on the drive shaft 8].
NOTE: The cross pin on the drive shaft 8] must fit into the indentation on the bottom pin of the sugar container 2].

Operation

  • Connect the power plug 11] to a suitable socket outlet.
  • Switching on: Set the on/off switch 13] to I.
  • Allow the product to run for about 5 minutes to reach the operational temperature.
  • Switching off: Set the on/off switch 13] to O.
  • Wait until the sugar container 2] stops turning.
  • Place approximately 14 g of sugar (not included) into the middle section of the sugar container 2] by using the measuring spoon 9].

NOTES:

  • To achieve the best results, use white granulated sugar.
  • Only add 1 scoop of sugar (not included) by the measuring spoon 9] at a time to avoid overfilling and spilling the sugar out.
  • Do not use the product for longer than 15 minutes without stopping. The product could overheat and be damaged. Switch off the product and allow it to cool down for at least 15 minutes.
  • Set the on/off switch 13] to me.
  • After a short, while sugar strands will start to form around the inner edge of the bowl 3].
  • Guide the bamboo stick 6] in circles around the bowl 3]. While doing so, turn the bamboo stick 6] in your fingers.
  • As soon as the sugar strand adheres to the bamboo stick 6], lift the bamboo stick 6] above the bowl 3] area.
  • Hold the bamboo stick 6] horizontally right above the bowl 3] while turning it in your fingers continuously.
  • Slowly move the bamboo stick 6] around the edge of the bowl 3] to keep collecting all the sugar strands.
  • The sugar is used up when no more strands appear.
  • If you want to prepare more candy floss, switch the product off. Refill the sugar container 2].

After use

  • Switching off: Set the on/off switch 13] to O.
  • Wait until the product cools down.
  • Clean the product thoroughly.
    NOTE: Clean the product after every use, otherwise the sugar residues may cause defects in operation.

Thermal cutoff

The product is equipped with a thermal cutoff sensor. If the temperature gets too high and there is a risk of damage the product switches off automatically. Once that happens, take the following measures:

Recipe for colorful candy sugar

Ingredients:
100 g:  White granulated sugar
6–8 drops: Gel food coloring
Preparation:

  • Put the white granulated sugar in a small food and freezer bag.

  • Add 6 to 8 drops of gel food coloring.

  • Squeeze the air out from the bag as much as possible. Close the bag properly.

  • From the outside of the bag, rub the gel food coloring into the sugar until the sugar is evenly colored.
    NOTE: Add gel food coloring until the desired color has been achieved

  • The colored candy sugar is now ready to be used for making candyfloss (see “Operation”).

Troubleshooting

Problem Cause/Solution
Water entered the base unit [1. ⯀  Disconnect the power plug 11 from the

socket-outlet.
⯀  Flip the base [1 over and leave it to drain.
⯀ Has the product been checked by qualified personnel?
Sugar entered the base unit [1.| ⯀  Disconnect the power plug 11 from the socket outlet.
⯀ Allow the product to cool down.
⯀  Remove sugar container 2 from the drive shaft [8.
⯀  Flip the base [1 over. Gently shake the product letting the sugar trickle out.
The sugar container [2 is not turning.| ⯀  Check if the sugar container [2 is placed correctly (see “Assembly”).
No sugar strands are forming.| ⯀  The sugar container [2 might be jammed. Clean the container thoroughly.
The product suddenly stops working.| ⯀ The product was in operation for too long activating the thermal cutoff (see “Thermal cutoff”).
⯀ Disconnect the power plug [11 from the socket-outlet. Has the product been checked by qualified personnel?

Cleaning and care

  • Before cleaning, disconnect the product from the socket outlet.
    WARNING! Do not immerse the electrical parts of the product in water or other liquids. Never hold the product under running water.

  • Clean the product with a slightly moistened cloth.

  • Do not allow any water or other liquids to enter the product’s interior.

  • Do not use abrasives, harsh cleaning solutions or hard brushes for cleaning.

  • Let all parts dry afterward.

Dismantling the product

  • Remove the power plug 11] from the power socket   Dismantle the splash guard 4] and the sugar container 2].
  • Turn the bowl 3] clockwise. Lift the bowl 3] up.

Cleaning the base

  • Clean the base unit 1] with a damp cloth.
  • Wipe dry with a non-abrasive cloth.

Cleaning the sugar container
NOTE: The sugar container 2] is not dishwasher safe. Do not clean it in the dishwasher.

  • Clean the sugar container 2] in warm water using your hands.
  • Let the sugar container 2] dry thoroughly before using the product again.

Cleaning the bowl accessories
NOTE: Only the bowl 3], splash guard 4], locking ring 5] and the measuring spoon 9] are dishwasher safe.

Storage

  • Do not cover the product while it is in use or shortly after use when it is still hot. Let the product cool completely before storing.
  • When not in use, store the product in its original packaging.
  • Store the product in a dry, secure location away from children.

Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.
Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste separation, which are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with the following meaning: 1–7: plastics / 20–22: paper and fibreboard / 80–98: composite materials.
The product and packaging materials are recyclable and disposed of it separately for better waste treatment. The Triman logo is valid in France only.
Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details on how to dispose of your worn-out product.
To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in household waste. Information on collection points and their opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.

Warranty

The product has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of product defects, you have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below.
The warranty for this product is 3 years from the date of purchase. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Please keep the original sales receipt in a safe location. This document is required as your proof of purchase.
Should this product show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it – at our choice – free of charge to you. This warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged, used, or maintained improperly.
The warranty applies to defects in material or manufacture. This warranty does not cover product parts subject to normal wear, thus possibly considered consumables (e .g . batteries) or for damage to fragile parts, e .g . switches, rechargeable batteries, or glass parts.
