Verify you have all the following parts included in the kit:
(1) JLT Intake Tube, (1) 3.5”-3″ Reducer, (1) 4.5”-4″ Reducer, (1) 22.5° 4.5”-4” Reducer, (1) AFE PCVinsert tube (2) 56 size Clamps (1) 64 size Clamp, (1) 72 size Clamp (1) 5×7″ Air Filter (1) Heat Shield (1) Heat Shield Gasket, (1) Foam Insert, (1) alcohol wipe and (1) 4” section of double-sided tape -
Gather the following tools needed for the installation: 5/16 nut driver, flat screw driver, and pliers

Remove the stock airbox by loosening the clamps at both turbo inlets, unplug the IAT sensor, pull down the 2 retaining clips, and remove the entire intake tube assembly.

Remove the adhesive backing of the heat shield gasket and apply it to the lower portion of the factory heat shield.

Install the JLT heat shield onto the factory box, it will slide into the back portion. Reattach the 2 clips to secure the heat shield.

Swap inlet air temp sensor from stock intake tube to the JLT. Twist and pull from stock tube and use light oil to insert into the grommet in the JLT tube. 2.7L and 2015-2016 3.5L owners use the grommet closest to the filter. USE SUPPLIED PLUG TO
SEAL GROMMET NOT USED.

Attach the air filter and reducers to the JLT intake tube, lower into heat shield and onto the turbo inlet tubes.

2.7L AND 2015-2016 3.5 OWNERS USE 22° REDUCER.
2017-2020 3.5L OWNERS USE THE STRAIGHT REDUCER.

AFE PCV INSERT:
MUST BE USED TO PREVENT CHECK ENGINE LIGHT.
Locate PCV connection at driver side turbo inlet, it’s running from the driver side valve cover.
Pull back on grey tab to release fitting, fitting maybe tight to remove but it will come off.
Insert AFE PCV insert into tube, the slash cut should be facing the turbo. Push the fitting all the way flush with connection.
Reattach PCV line.
Oil Filter: The frequency you should clean your filter will depend on
your driving conditions. It is recommended to check your filter at every oil
change or 3,000 miles. If there is a build up of dirt as thick as the wire
mesh, then it’s time to clean your filter. As irt
builds up on your filter, the restriction of the airflow also increases. More
frequent cleanings will improve your fuel economy and your vehicle’s
performance.
To properly clean your oil filter, we recommend the S&B Precision Cleaning &
Oiling Kit (located in the Parts Sold Separately Section of our website,
