IMPORTANT SEFETY INSTRUCTIONS

PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE PRODUCT.
WARNING!
In order to avoid overheating, please DO NOT COVER heater during use.
When using an electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be observed, including the following:

  • The fan heater is not suitable for use outdoors in damp weather, in bathrooms or in other wet or damp environments.
  • Please note that the fan heater can become very hot and should, therefore, be placed at a safe distance from flammable objects such as furniture, curtains and similar.
  • DO NOT cover the fan heater.
  • DO NOT place the fan heater immediately under a wall socket.
  • DO NOT connect the fan heater using an on/off timer or other equipment which can automatically switch the device on.
  • The fan heater must not be placed in rooms where flammable liquids or gases are used or stored.
  • DO NOT use this heater with an extension lead. It is recommended the heater is plugged directly into a wall socket outlet as some extension lead are not capable of carrying the power this heater requires.
  • You must not connect other appliances to the same mains socket as the fan heater.
  • It is recommended that a separate circuit serving only this appliance be provided, keep the power cord far enough from the hot air outlet.
  • Use the appliance in places with good air ventilation, do not position it near a wall or corner.
  • This heater cannot be used in a bathroom, shower room or swimming pool.
  • If the supply cord is damaged or worn it must be replaced by a suitably qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
  • Make sure heater is always attended when switched on, keeping children and animals away.
  • DO NOT place the appliance on moving vehicles or anywhere it can be easily tipped over.
  • When you don’t use the appliance for a long time, unplug the appliance. Don’t leave the heater for a considerable amount of time when in use. Pull the plug straight out, never remove the plug by pulling on the cord .
  • Keep the heater far from curtains or places where the air inlet can easily be blocked.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  • Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
  • Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  • Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
  • CAUTION! Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.
  • If the appliance is damaged, discontinue use.

USING YOUR HEATER

SupaWarm SWBH3 Heavy Duty Fan Heater - Using Your
heater

  • Position the fan heater so that it stands upright on a firm surface and at a safe distance from wet environments and flammable objects.
  • Plug the fan heater directly in to a mains socket.
  • Set the thermostat knob to MAX and let the heater operate with full power (above).
  • The fan heater will switch on when the function selector (right) is set to one of the three power settings – first setting is 30W, second setting is 1500W and third setting is 3000W.
  • Once the room reaches the required temperature, you should turn the thermostat dial slowly counter-clockwise until the fan heater switches off. The fan heater now starts and stops automatically, keeping the room temperature constant.
  • Before turning off the heater, please turn the thermostat to OFF position and turn the heating knob to ‘fan’ or ‘off’, let the appliance cool down for two minutes .
  • The angle of the heater can be adjusted by approximately 20 degrees up and down.
  • When the heater is no longer needed, always switch the heater off and unplug from the mains. Always turn the heater off at the switch first then unplug from the mains supply.
  • At full power, this heater draws maximum current from the mains (13 amps), therefore it is important that it is not plugged into an extension cable or any kind of multi-gang adaptor.

**** WARNING PLEASE NOTE

There may be a small amount of smoke emitted as the element first heats and burns any residue left from manufacture, this will stop fairly quickly, but it is recommended that a window is briefly opened to vent smoke released when first used.
When using on full power mode, occasionally check the cord and plug.

ANGLE ADJUSTMENT

Adjustment

During use, the air direction angle can be adjusted by 20 degrees up and down.
To do this loosen the knobs on the side of the steel frame and gently press the back part of the product with your hand, the heater will tilt.
Adjust the hot air direction to the preferred angle and tighten the knobs.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Before cleaning the appliance, disconnect it from the socket and let it cool down. The enclosure can easily get dirty, wipe it often with soft sponge. For dirty parts, wipe with a sponge dipped in <45°C water and mild detergent, then dry the heater enclosure with clean cloth. Be careful not to let the water enter the appliance inner. Don , t splash water onto the heater, never use solvent like gasoline, isoamyl acetate, toluene etc. to clean the heater, in order to protect the enclosure.
  • Clean the cord and plug, dry and pack it in a plastic bag.
  • When you store the heater, let it cool down first, keep it dry. Then cover it with a plastic bag, put in a packing box and store it in a dry, ventilated place.
