Product Usage Instructions
To mount the GL1800 Rear Reflector Light Kit on your motorcycle, please follow these instructions:
- Start by locating the rear reflector on your GL1800 motorcycle. It is usually positioned at the rear end of the bike.
- Remove the existing rear reflector from its mounting position carefully. This may require unscrewing or unclipping the reflector.
- Take the GL1800 Rear Reflector Light Kit and align it with the mounting holes or brackets on your motorcycle.
- Securely attach the kit to the motorcycle by using the provided screws or fasteners. Ensure that it is tightly fixed to prevent any movement during riding.
- Double-check the alignment and positioning of the reflector light kit to ensure it is straight and centered on the motorcycle.
- Connect the wiring harness of the reflector light kit to the motorcycle’s electrical system. Follow the color-coded instructions provided with the kit for proper wire connections.
- Once the wiring is connected, test the functionality of the reflector light kit by turning on the motorcycle’s lights. The reflector lights should illuminate properly.

Remove the rear reflector.

Place a piece of masking tape in the reflector area and for marking area for light and wire to be installed.
Place the light on the reflector area and mark hole for wires. -
Drill a 1/8” hole.

Clear area.

Put the light wires into the hole.

Remove the tape covering from light and press on firmly.

Attach the black wire to ground and the other wire to the accessory fuse on the left side of the bike.

We strongly suggest the purchase of part 18187, 18188, 18189, 18190 Accessory Switch Kits for the switching off all accessories. This bike has a computer board and attaching any accessory into the harness may cause damage.
