Precautions
Points to observe for safe usage
Read this manual carefully before using this device and its components.
They contain instructions on how to use this product in a safe and effective
manner. Caliber Europe BV cannot be responsible for problems resulting from
failure to observe the instructions in this manual.
Turn off the device immediately in case of a problem.
Failure to do so may cause personal injury or damage to the product.
Return it to your authorized Caliber Europe BV dealer for repair.
Product cleaning.
Use a soft dry cloth for periodic cleaning of the product. For more severe
stains, please dampen the cloth with water only. Anything else has the chance
of dissolving the paint or damaging the plastic.
Temperature.
Ensure that the ambient temperature is between 0°C and +45°C before turning on
the device.
Maintenance.
If you have problems, do not attempt to repair the device yourself. Return it
to your Caliber Europe BV dealer for servicing.
Placement.
Place the product on a flat surface. Provide enough space around the product
for sufficient ventilation.
Heat.
Do not locate the appliance in the vicinity of a heat surface or in direct
sunlight.
Voltage.
Check the main voltage indicated on the adapter/product rating label in
accordance to the local electricity supply, if it doesn’t, return the product
to the store where you bought it.
Plug.
Remove the plug from the outlet, when the product is unused for a long period
of time and during thunderstorms.
Replace battery.
The built-in rechargeable battery is not replaceable. Do not remove or replace
the battery, do not throw in the trash or in the fire. Use only supplied
charging adapter.
Below the descriptions of the features/options of the HPG 440BT, hereafter called “device”..The numbers between the “(…)” refer to the key or connections on the device. The illustrations can be found in the front of this manual.
Power On/Off:
Long-press the Power button to turn the speaker on, and short-press the Power button to turn the speaker off.
Bluetooth ® streaming function:
- Press the Power On/Off button (8) to turn the speaker on. The speaker will make a tone, the Power button turns blue and will blink quickly.
- The speaker enters Bluetooth function mode automatically.
- Activate Bluetooth ® on your mobile phone and search for the device name “ELEGANCE” then connect it. The power button will stop blinking and make a tone once connected. ®
- Play the music from your mobile phone and enjoy.
- Long-press the Forward (4) or Backward (3) button on the device or operate on your Mobile phone to the select songs you like.
- Short-press the Forward (4) or Backward (3) button to adjust the volume up and down. Or adjust the mobile phones’ volume.
- Short-press the Play/Pause button (5) on the device or operate on a Mobile phone to play/pause the music.
- Long-press TWS button (7) to disconnect the the Bluetooth ® function with the mobile device.
TWS Function:
- Turn on two identical speakers you want to pair, both under Bluetooth ® mode. You only need to set one of the two units.
- Short-press the TWS button (7) and the speaker will make a tone and start to pair, a tone will be audible again and the TWS button will keep lighting after being paired successfully.
- Activate the Bluetooth function and connect the device to your mobile phone, tablet, PC, to play music through the two paired speakers to create a more powerful surround sound effect. ®
- Short-press the TWS button (7) again to exit the TWS function.
Playing music from a USB disk:

Press the Power On/Off button (8) to turn the speaker on.

Insert a USB flash disk into the slot, the speaker will play the stored music automatically.

Long-press the Forward (4) or Backward (3) button to select songs you like, and short-press to adjust the volume up (4) and down (3).

Short-press Play/Pause (5) to play or pause.
Notes: Under any playing mode, when you insert a USB disk to the speaker, it will automatically switch to play the USB disk.
AUX-IN: -
For other compatible music devices or your MP3/MP4 player, use the supplied audio line cable to connect from your device’s “Line Out” to the Aux-in (10) of this device. You can use your device to forward and backward a song and use the volume adjustment (3/4) on the speaker or on your device.

Under any playing mode, when you use the audio cable to connect the device, it will automatically switch to the AUX mode.

When using an external device, all functions can be controlled by the external device. Only volume can be adjusted via the speaker.
RGB Lighting
When the speaker is turned on, the RGB light is on automatically, user can long-press the Mode button (6) to switch the RGB light on and off. Activating Voice Assistant: -
Connect to your mobile phone via the Bluetooth function.

Long-press Play/Pause button (5) to activate voice assistant.
Hands-free call: -
When connected via the Bluetooth function, if there is an incoming call, user can short-press
Play/Pause button (5) to accept the call or long-press Play/Pause button (5) to reject the call. -
During the call, user can long-press Play/Pause button (5) to switch to talking on the phone.

Short-press Play/Pause button (5) or operate your mobile phone to end the call.
Reset Functionality:
If the speaker does not turn off or respond, user can short-press the Reset
button (12) port with a small round pin to reset the speaker.
More Remarks:
- The default volume is at 50% status of max volume.
- Play time may vary depending on volume level and music style.
How to charge:
- Plays always use the charger which is included in the package, please charge this speaker via this charger or via a PC.
- Charge time should be 3-5 hours. After full charging, the 4 LEDs keep lighting.
- When the battery voltage is low, the speaker will prompt for recharging.
- The unit does not have a power bank function, it is forbidden to charge another device via this unit or to connect another device via the USB port.
IMPORTANT: When playing music during charging, please put the volume to the middle, because for some music with heavy bass, the charger may not be able to afford the high current temporarily under the maximum volume.
Warning:
- Don’t use/store this speaker in extreme temperatures.
- Please store it in cool and dry area, keep away from anything that generates heat, such as radiators, stoves, etc.
- In order to avoid hearing loss and have an extended product life, avoid listening to songs on continuous maximum volume.
- When cleaning this speaker, use a soft dry cloth. For more sever stains, please dampen the cloth with water only. Anything else has the chance of dissolving the paint or damaging the plastic or fabric.
Old appliances and/or batteries must not be disposed of with garbage!
If the device/battery can not be used anymore, every user is legally obliged
to dispose of old appliances ‘and/or batteries separated from the garbage,
e.g. at a collection point of his municipality/district.
