OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING

Fire Hazard
Never place items in the washer that are dampened with gasoline or other flammable fluids.
No washer can completely remove oil.
Do not dry anything that has ever had any type of oil on it (including cooking oils).
Doing so can result in death, explosion, or fire.

WARNING: Do not wash water resistant or water repellent type clothing. Failure to closely follow these instructions may result in an abnormal vibrating and out-of-balance condition that could result in physical injury, property damage and/or appliance damage.

1. Add HE Detergent & Laundry Products to Dispenser then close the dispenser drawer.

2. Sort & Load Laundry then close the door.

3. Touch Power to Turn On the Washer.

4. Select the Desired Cycle for your Load.

5. Adjust Cycle Setting, if desired.

6. Select Additional Options.

7. Touch and Hold Start/Pause to Begin Cycle.

NOTE : Not all cycles, settings or options are available with all models.

CHOOSING THE RIGHT CYCLE

NOTE: Normal cycle with Warm water is recommended for cottons, linens and mixed garment loads.

CLEANING THE PET FILTER

1. Pinch the filter at the cut out and push away to remove the filter.

2. Remove pet hair from outside of filter. Open cover to remove hair inside of filter.

3. Place filter back by pinching the filter at the cut out and pull forward to lock in place.

  2. Visit the Maytag Brand Appliances Customer eXperience Center at the provided addresses.
  3. Scan the Photo Registration Card to complete the registration process.
Important Safety Instructions:

Before installing or operating the appliance, read the Safety and Installation Instructions carefully to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to a person.

Operating Instructions:
  1. Never place items dampened with flammable fluids in the washer.
  2. Avoid washing water-resistant clothing to prevent abnormal vibrating or out-of-balance conditions.
  3. Add HE Detergent & Laundry Products to the dispenser.
  4. Sort & Load Laundry into the washer.
  5. Turn On the Washer by touching the Power button.
  6. Select the Desired Cycle for your load.
  7. Adjust Cycle Settings if necessary.
  8. Select Additional Options.
  9. Touch and Hold Start/Pause to Begin Cycle.
Cleaning the Pet Filter:
  1. Pinch and push to remove the filter.
  2. Clean pet hair from inside and outside of the filter.
  3. Reinsert the filter by pinching and pulling it into place.
Choosing the Right Cycle:

For cottons, linens, and mixed garment loads, it is recommended to use the Normal cycle with Warm water.
