INSTALLATION

  1. Before installation contact Schrader FAE (Field Application Engineer) for support.

  4. Align the controller power pins with slots in the socket.

  5. Check if the surfaces between the controller and NEMA socket are parallel and plug in.Schreder OWLET IV NEMA NAM Luminaire Controllers - socket are parallel

  7. Turn controller ± 45° clockwise until it locks.Schreder OWLET IV NEMA NAM Luminaire Controllers - Turn controller VERIFICATION The installer is responsible for verifying the installation.

  8. Visual Verification
    Correct installation: Surfaces of controller and NEMA socket are parallel. Incorrect installation: Surfaces of controller and NEMA socket are twisted. NEMA socket with internal RFID Symbol on controller and gasket are aligned.

SELF-TEST

Note: the self-test occurs only in the first 5 power cycles after installing the controller.
When powering on luminaire, the light switches ON to maximum level.Schreder
