INSTALLATION

Before installation contact Schrader FAE (Field Application Engineer) for support.

During installation, ensure correct body position over the luminaire.

Turning indications on top of controller. Hold controller.

Align the controller power pins with slots in the socket.
Align the longer pin (Neutral) first. -
Check if the surfaces between the controller and NEMA socket are parallel and plug in.

Push the controller firmly down. Make sure it is vertically aligned.

Turn controller ± 45° clockwise until it locks. VERIFICATION The installer is responsible for verifying the installation.

Visual Verification
Correct installation: Surfaces of controller and NEMA socket are parallel. Incorrect installation: Surfaces of controller and NEMA socket are twisted. NEMA socket with internal RFID Symbol on controller and gasket are aligned. -
Mechanical Verification
Pull the controller up to check if it is lockedNEMA socket with external RFID Symbol on controller and socket label are aligned. -
Extra barcode labels are supplied with the controller
SELF-TEST
Note: the self-test occurs only in the first 5 power cycles after
installing the controller.
When powering on luminaire, the light switches ON to maximum level.The controller reduces light to minimum level. The
controller switches OFF the light completely.

Correct Luminaire is ON Incorrect Luminaire is OFF Built-in LED controller
is ON
OPTIONAL SENSOR TEST trigger a sensor dectection in the luminaire
Correct: Light level changes from max to min
Incorrect: Light level does not change 120 minutes
After the self-test, the luminaire operates as configured on the CMS
platform.
