Product Usage Instructions

  1. Ensure the battery is inserted correctly. The HygroBugTM requires a 3 volt, type CR2032 or equivalent battery. Insert one piece of the battery into the designated slot.
  2. To turn on the device, press and hold the power button for a few seconds until the display lights up.
  3. The display will show the current humidity level in percentage and the temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit (depending on the settings).
  4. To switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit, press the mode button located on the device.
  5. You can use the HygroBugTM to measure humidity levels in various environments. Place the device in the desired location and wait for it to stabilize, then read the displayed humidity level.
  6. For accurate readings, avoid placing the device near sources of heat, direct sunlight, or areas with excessive moisture.
  7. To turn off the device, press and hold the power button until the display turns off.
  8. Replace the battery when it runs out of power. Open the battery compartment, remove the old battery, and insert a new one following the correct polarity.

HygroBug™

Operating Instructions

What’s included

How to operate
HygroBug is an ambient temperature and humidity thermometer, primarily used to track temperatures and humidity over time. It is not an instant-read thermometer.

  • To power on HygroBug, press power button once.
  • To activate backlight, press power button. Backlight stays on for 10 seconds.
  • To power off HygroBug, press and hold power button for 5 seconds.
  • While HygroBug is on, press the power button twice—MAX temperature and humidity will show in the display. Press power button again—MIN temperature and humidity will show in display.
  • To reset MAX/MIN, turn HygroBug off and on again.
  • To switch from °F to °C, press and hold power button for 5 seconds upon start up.

Sensor Care
Avoid exposure to harmful chemicals/materials and submersion in water.

To Change Battery
Replace with 3-volt, CR2032 button cell battery. Use a phillips screwdriver to open the battery cover on the bottom. Install the battery according to the correct polarity, positive side up, sliding the battery under the metal clip. Reattach the battery cover.
