6 Product overview

The device has no controls and merely serves to charge batteries automatically. It has a total of 4 charging slots with adjustable metal clamps. Above the charging slots are four LEDs that indicate the charge level and charging process. The device also has a USB-C port for connecting the device to a power source using the supplied connection cable.

There are no controls for adjusting/changing/controlling the charging process.

7 Installation

The product requires no installation and is ready for use.
Please note that the product comes without a mains adapter. Connect the product to a suitable power source, as described in section 8.

8 Operation
  1. Insert the USB-C plug of the supplied connection cable into the dedicated USB-C port on the top of your charger.
  2. Insert the USB-A plug of the connection cable into the USB-A port of a suitable adapter or a chargeable terminal device.
  3. Ensure the adapter is properly connected to the mains or that the terminal device has a sufficient power supply (5 V/2 A or more) or is sufficiently charged (e.g. laptop, power bank, etc.).
  4. When properly connected, the charger automatically detects the power supply and starts charging. Initially, all four LED indicators light up once from bottom to top and then go off.
  5. You can now insert rechargeable batteries to be charged. Observe the “+” and “-” markings in the charging points. Up to 4 rechargeable batteries can be charged at the same time. When inserting the battery, ensure that it sits firmly in place and is not loose. You can push down the metal clamping elements to charge different-sized batteries. Only use compatible rechargeable batteries!
  6. The four LED indicators show the respective charge level of the battery being charged and move upwards during the charging process (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%).
  7. Once the charging process has been completed successfully, the LED indicators above the batteries will light up constantly. Remove the charged batteries and disconnect the charger from the power supply.
9 Troubleshooting
Problem Cause Remedy
The LED above the battery shows all four bars and flashes. The battery is
inserted incorrectly. Insert the battery correctly by observing the “+” and

“-” markings.
Batteries are inserted correctly, but all LEDs are off.| The device is not connected to the mains supply, or the power source is not suitable.| Connect the device to a suitable power source (adapter/terminal device, see section 8) using the connection cable.
The LED above the battery only shows the charge level and then keeps flashing.| There is a battery in the charging slot below the LED indicator concerned.| Remove the battery immediately and only use compatible batteries for charging!
All batteries are correctly inserted, and the device is connected to a functioning and suitable power source. The charging process does not take place or the LEDs are off.| The power cord, power source or device is connected incorrectly or faulty.| Check that all connectors are plugged in correctly. If the problem persists after multiple checks, disconnect the device from the power source and contact Conrad customer support.

11 Disposal
11.1 Product

This symbol must appear on any electrical and electronic equipment placed on the EU market. This symbol indicates that this device should not be disposed of as unsorted municipal waste at the end of its service life.

Owners of WEEE (Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment) shall dispose of it separately from unsorted municipal waste. Spent batteries and accumulators, which are not enclosed by the WEEE, as well as lamps that can be removed from the WEEE in a non-destructive manner, must be removed by end users from the WEEE in a non-destructive manner before it is handed over to a collection point.

Distributors of electrical and electronic equipment are legally obliged to provide free take-back of waste. Conrad provides the following return options free of charge (more details on our website):

  • in our Conrad offices
  • at the Conrad collection points
  • at the collection points of public waste management authorities or the collection points set up by manufacturers or distributors within the meaning of the ElektroG

End users are responsible for deleting personal data from the WEEE to be disposed of. It should be noted that different obligations about the return or recycling of WEEE may apply in countries outside of Germany.

11.2 (Rechargeable) batteries

Remove batteries/rechargeable batteries, if any, and dispose of them separately from the product. According to the Battery Directive, end users are legally obliged to return all spent batteries/ rechargeable batteries; they must not be disposed of in the normal household waste.

Batteries/rechargeable batteries containing hazardous substances are labelled with this symbol to indicate that disposal in household waste is forbidden. The abbreviations for heavy metals in batteries are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name on (rechargeable) batteries, e.g. below the trash icon on the left).

Used (rechargeable) batteries can be returned to collection points in your municipality, our stores or wherever (rechargeable) batteries are sold. You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to environmental protection.

Batteries/rechargeable batteries that are disposed of should be protected against short circuit and their exposed terminals should be covered completely with insulating tape before disposal. Even empty batteries/rechargeable batteries can contain residual energy that may cause them to swell, burst, catch fire or explode in the event of a short circuit.
