DISPLAY
The control board offers several features: you can simply set the starting
address, run the pre-programmed program or make a reset. The main menu is
accessed by pressing the Mode button, and browse through the submenu by
pressing Up or Down.
Press the Enter button in order to select the desired menu. You can change the
selection by pressing Up or Down. Confirm every selection by pressing the

are described later in this manual.
DMX-512 CONNECTION
If you are using a standard DMX controller, you can connect the DMX output of the controller directly to the DMX input of the first unit in a DMX chain. Always connect the output of one unit with the input of the next unit until all units are connected.
5-pin XLR DMX Connectors.
Some manufacturers use 5-pin DMX-512 data cables for DATA transmission in
place of 3-pin. 5-pin DMX fixtures may be implemented in a 3-pin DMX line.
When inserting standard 5-pin data cables into a 3-pin line a cable adaptor
must be used. The chart below details a proper cable conversion.
3-Pin XLR to 5-Pin XLR Conversion
Conductor| 3-Pin XLR Female (Out)| 5-Pin XLR Male (In)
Ground/Shield| Pin 1| Pin 1
Data Compliment (- signal)| Pin 2| Pin 2
Data True (+ signal)| Pin 3| Pin 3
Not Used| | Pin 4 – Do Not Use
Not Used| | Pin 5 – Do Not Use
At the last fixture, the DMX cable has to be terminated. Solder a 120 Ohm resistor between signal (-) and signal (+) into a 3-pin XLR connector and plug this into the DMX output of the last fixture in the chain.
MASTER/SLAVE OPERATION
The master/slave operation enables several same units can be controlled by one
“master” unit. Connect the first unit “DMX OUT” socket with the second unit
“DMX IN”, using a 3pin DMX Cable. Repeat this process with the third, fourth,
etc. or see the above section “DMX-512 connection”. Choose the unit that will
control all others and set this in master mode via the display. The other
units that must react on the master, you must set in slave mode. The “Slave”
will synchronously follow the “Master” .
Noted: Any unit can be the “Master” or “Slave”.
REMOTE CONTROLLER
To switch off the lights: Press OFF on the remote control [1].
Manual Color Control: You can set R/G/B colors with the remote by pushing
either the Red
Preset color mode: Press one of the nine preset colors on the remote control.
[4] Program: Press one of the four program buttons to choose between the
different auto programs [5]. Speed can be changed with up and down button [1].
**** The remote control is supplied with a battery inserted. An insulating
foil between the battery and the battery contacts prevents the battery from
being discharged during storage. Prior to the first operation remove the foil
from the battery support on the rear side of the remote control. Otherwise,
operation of the remote control is not possible.
If the range of the remote control decreases, replace the battery. For this
purpose, on the rear side of the remote control press, the small bar with the
groove to the right (1) and at the same time remove the battery support (2).
For operation, one 3 V button cell type CR 2025 is required. When inserting,
pay attention that the positive pole of the button cell shows upwards in the
support.
WIRELESS DMX CONTROL
The unit can be used with wireless DMX. The wireless receiver module functions
as a receiver and transmitter of a 2.4 GHz wireless signal. Switch DMX on
wirelessly via the main menu (see menu structure, behind of the manual for
more information).
Then establish a wireless connection with the Beamz BPP Wireless DMX
Transmitter (154.077).
CAUTION! The BPP Wireless DMX Transmitter and unit must be connected on the
same DMX Universe, you can check easily by the color of the LED indicator.

REPLACING THE FUSE
If the fuse is defective, replace the fuse with a fuse of the same type and
value. Before replacing the fuse, unplug mains lead.
Procedure:
Step 1: Open the fuse holder on the rear panel with a fitting screwdriver.
Step 2: Remove the old fuse from the fuse holder.
Step 3: Install the new fuse in the fuse holder.
Step 4: Replace the fuse holder in the housing.
FIXTURE CLEANING
The cleaning of internal and external optical lenses and/or mirrors must be carried out periodically to optimize light output. Cleaning frequency depends on the environment in which the fixture operates: damp, smoky or particularly dirty surroundings can cause a greater accumulation of dirt on the unit’s optics.
- Make sure the area below the installation place is free from unwanted persons during servicing
- Housings, fixations and installations spots( ceiling, truss, suspensions) should be totally free from any deformation
- The mains cables must be in impeccable condition and should be replaced immediately when even a small problem is detected
- In order to protect the fixture from overheating the cooling fans (if any) and ventilation openings should be cleaned monthly.
- The interior of the fixture should be cleaned annually using a vacuum cleaner or air jet.
- Clean with soft cloth using normal glass cleaning fluid.
- Always dry the parts carefully.
- Clean the external optics at least every month. Clean the internal optics at least every 30/60 days.
ATTENTION: We strongly recommend internal cleaning to be carried out by qualified worker!
