Safety Instructions

  • When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed

CAUTION: Hot surfaces do not touch any sections or Surfaces of the appliance that may become hot or the heating components of the appliance.
WARNING: Keep the appliance away from flammable materials.
Automatic Switch-off
The main unit is fitted with an automatic switch-off. This may acfivate if the set cooking time has elapsed, causing the fiber fo sound and the automatic switch-off to activate, turning off the main unit. If the hood is opened for more than 4 minutes during use and the main unit is not used during this time, the main unit will beep twice every 10 seconds. After 1 minute, the main unit will switch oft.
NOTE: If the main unit needs to be turned off before the set cooking time has elapsed, switch off using the power button and unplug from the mains power supply.

Care and Maintenance

Before attempting any cleaning or maintenance, switch off and unplug fhe main unit from the mains power supply and allow it to fully cool.
STEP 1: Wipe the main unit with a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
STEP 2: Remove all accessories, clean in warm, soapy water, then rinse, and dry thoroughly. Do not immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid. Never use harsh or abrasive cleaning detergents or scourers to clean the main unit or its accessories, as fhis could cause damage.
NOTE: The non-stick coated grill plate, cooking pot, basket, and splash guard should be cleaned after each use.

Instructions for Use

Before First Use
STEP 1: Before connecting to the main power supply, wipe the main unit with a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
STEP 2: Clean the accessories in warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
STEP 3: Place the main unit on a stable, heat-resistant surface, at a height that is comfortatble for the User.
NOTE: When using the main unit for the first time, a slight smoke or odor may be emitted. This is normal and will soon subside. Allow for sufficient ventilation around the grill. It is advised to run the main unit without food for approx. 10 minutes before first use; this will prevent the initial smoke or odor from affecting the taste of the food.

Assembling the AeroGrill Pro

STEP 1: Fif the cooking pot into the cooking compartment so that it is seated securely.
STEP 2: Place the non-stick coated grill plate or the non-stick coated basket into the cooking pot with the handles facing upwards and to the side.
STEP 3: Attach the splash guard to the main unit by inserting it into the slots on the left side of the hood. Once inserted, push the splash guard in an upwards direction until it clicks securely into the clip on the night side of the hoOd.
NOTE: The main unit comes preassembled. The hood should be closed securely before use, as not doing so will prevent the unit from working. To remove the splash guard, push the clip upwards to release the fab.
CAUTION: Do not assemble or disassemble the main unit obits accessories whilst hot.

Using the AeroGrill Pro

STEP 1: Plug in and switch on the main unit at the main power supply: the main unit will beep and the indicator lights will flash to indicate that the unit is plugged in.
STEP 2: Press the power button to switch on the main unit; the LED display will show 88:88′ indicating that the function is ready to be programmed.
STEP 3: Using the control panel, press the function icon that indicates the cooking function required. STEP 4: Use the timer control buttons to adjust the cooking time; max. cooking time is dependent upon the cooking function selected. The timer control buttons can be held down to quickly adjust settings during cooking.
STEP 5: Use the temperature control buttons to change the cooking temperature; max. temperature is dependent upon the cooking function selected. The temperature control buttons can be held down to quickly adjust settings during cooking.
STEP 6: Press ‘START/STOP to begin preheating: the preheat indicator light will lluminate for every function except BROIL, which does not require preheating.

STEP 8: Open the hood and carefully place the ingredients on top of the non-stick Coated grill plate or basket and then close the hood. when baking, remove the non-stick coated gill plate or basket from the cooking port for better results.
STEP 9: Some ingredients may require moving during cooking. Open the hood and carefully move the food around using a heat-resistant plastic or wooden utensil or left the non-stick coated cooking pot Use heat-resistant gloves and shake. Close the hood to resume cooking.
STEP 10: Once cooking is complete and the preset time has elapsed, the timer will sound and END will show on the LED display; the main unit will switch off. Open the hood to check whether the ingredients are ready. If the ingredients are not cooked, close the hood and use the control panel to adjust the cooking time accordingly. If the food is cooked, lift out the cooking pot using heat-resistant gloves and place it on a heatproof surface. Use a pair of heat-resistant tongs (not included) to empty the contents into a bowl or onto a plate.
NOTE: The splash guard must be cleaned after each Use. Remove the non- stick-coated grill plate or basket for better baking results.
CAUTION: Do not tip the food directly into the serving dish once cooked, as excess oil may collect at the bottom of the non-stick coated cooking pot and leak onto the ingredients or serving dish. Exercise caution when opening and closing the hood during Use, as it will become very hot. WARNING: Nominal voltage is still present even when the main unit is turned off. To permanently switch off the main unit, turn it off if the mains power supply.

Storage

Check that the main unit is cool, clean and dry before stoing in a cool, dry place. Never wrap the cord fightly around the main unif; wrap if loOsely fo avoid Causing damage.

Connection to the Mains

Please check that the voltage indicated on the product corresponds with your supply voltage.

Important
As the colors in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the colored markings identifying the terminals in your plug, please proceed as follows: The wires in the mains lead are colored in accordance with the following code:

  • Blue Neutral (N)

  • Brown Live (L)

  • Green/Yellow Earth

FOR UK USE ONLY – Plug fitting details (where applicable). The wire colored BLUE is the NEUTRAL and must be connected to the terminal marked N or colored BLACK . The wire colored BROWN is the LIVE wire and must be connected to the terminal marked Lor colored RED . The wire colored GREEN/YELLOW must be connected to the terminal marked with the letter E or marked. On no account must either the BROWN or the BLUE wire be connected to the EARTH Terminal ****Always ensure that the cord grip is fastened correctly. The plug must be fitted with a fuse of the same rating already fitted and conforming to BS 1362 and be ASTA approved. If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician who will be pleased to do this for you.

Non-Rewireable Mains Plug

If your appliance is supplied with a  non-rewireable plug fitted to the mains lead and should the fuse need replacing, you must use one that is ASTA approved (conforming to BS 1362 of the same rating). If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician who will be pleased to do this for you. If you need to remove the plug, DISCONNECT IT FROM THE MAINS, then cut it off the mains lead and immediately dispose of it safely. Never attempt to reuse the plug or insert it into a socket outlet as there is a danger of an electric shock.
