Product Usage Instructions
Inclusion to a Zigbee Network
- Remove the device from any previous Zigbee network it may have been added to. Otherwise, pairing mode will fail.
- Set the primary controller to add mode.
- To start the configuration process, press the Reset button or the external switch connected to P, 3 times in rapid succession.
- The device LED will blink in green when the adding procedure has been successfully initiated.
Installation and Wiring
Installation must be done by a qualified electrician in accordance with national building codes. Before installation, disconnect the power to the device from the mains. During installation of the device, power to the device must be disconnected AT ALL TIMES!
- Switch off the mains voltage (turn off the fuse).
- Open the junction box.
- Connect according to the wiring diagram as shown above:
- Install the dimmer (A) in the wall box. Make sure that no wires are pinched.
- Attach the cover (B) with the supplied nut (C).
- Attach the button (D) with a simple push.
- After verifying the connections, switch on the mains voltage.
- Set the primary controller in add mode.
- Press the reset button on the dimmer 3 times in a rapid sequence. Heatit Zig Dim is now included in your network.
- Add/Remove
- The primary controller/gateway has a mode for adding or removing devices. Please refer to your primary controller manual on how to set the primary controller in add/remove mode. The device may only be added or removed from the network if the primary controller is in add/remove mode.
- Removing from a Zigbee Network
- Removing a device from the Zigbee Network is initiated from the gateway. Check your gateway manual on how to remove a device.
- Performing a Factory Reset
- Press and hold the Reset button. After 3 seconds, the LED will start to blink green. After 20 seconds, the LED will stop blinking and emit a constant light. You may now release the button.
- Note: If the button is released within the first 3 seconds, the device will reset and start blinking red because it is not included in a gateway.
INTRODUCTION
- Heatit Zig Dim is a Zigbee rotary dimmer for many different types of light fixtures. The dimmer works on most low loads without causing flickering. Heatit Zig Dim is very well suited for LED.
- The dimmer is equipped with an external momentary switch option. This allows you to dim and turn on/off the light.
- The dimmer fits in European wall boxes and can be used with most frames that are adapted to System 55.
- When connecting low loads it is recommended to use a bypass.
- NB! Dimming may be challenging, and we recommend checking the compatibility of different light sources before installation.
INSTALLATION
- Installation must be done by a qualified electrician in accordance with national building codes. Before installation, disconnect the power to the device from the mains. During installation of the device, power to the device must be disconnected AT ALL TIMES!

Max tightening torque terminal screws: 2Nm.
INSTALLATION AND WIRING

- Connect the Live to the dimmer terminal marked ”L”.
Connect the load terminal marked ”L” to the dimmer terminal marked
- Connect the Live to the dimmer terminal marked ”L”.

Removing from a Zigbee network
- Removing a device from the Zigbee Network is initiated from the gateway. Check your gateway manual on how to remove a device.
Performing a factory reset
- Press and hold the Reset button. After 3 seconds the LED will start to blink green. After 20 seconds the LED will stop blinking and emit a constant light. You may now release the button.

- Within the 3 second period the button must be released. If the button is released within this period, the device will reset and start blinking red because it is not included in a gateway.

- If the button is released before the 3 second period, the device will indicate fail by turning RED LED on for 3 seconds.

- The button MUST be released between 20 and 23 seconds for local reset to take place. If held longer, the device will ignore the command.
TOUCHLINK
- Press the reset button 4 times.
- The device LED will blink blue when it is ready to be paired.
- Bring the remote within 10 cm of the dimmer and set the remote to TouchLink pairing.
- If the procedure was successful, the LED will light up in solid green for 3 seconds.
Note:
- When neither device (dimmer and remote) are included in a Zigbee network, each dimmer can only link to one remote.
- When both devices are included in the same Zigbee network, each dimmer can link with max. 30 remotes.
- For Philips Hue Hubs and Amazon Echo Plus, add remote and device to network first, then TouchLink.
FIND AND BIND
- Press the reset button 5 times.
- The device LED will blink yellow when it is ready to be added.
- Set the remote into Find and Bind mode and enable Find and Bind pairing. Please refer to the manufacturer instructions on how to do this.
- There should be an indication on the remote that it has successfully connected to the dimmer, and can control it.
