SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • Always take basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and/or personal injury.
  • Read these instructions carefully before use.
  • The product must only be used for its intended purpose and in accordance with these instructions. Any other use could result in fire, electric shock, personal injury and/or material damage.
  • The product is intended for home use or in offices, and is not suitable for industrial or commercial use. Plug the plug into a suitable power point, 220–240 VAC, which has been properly installed and earthed in accordance with local regulations. The product should be connected to a separate power circuit. Consult an authorised electrician if in doubt.
  • Only use the product in the vicinity of working fire alarm.
  • The product gets hot when in use. Do not touch hot parts – risk of burn injury. Always use the handle to move the product.
  • The product must not be placed closer than 0.9 metres to furniture, curtains, bedding, paper, and other flammable materials on all sides.
  • Do not leave the product unattended when it is switched on. Closely supervise the product when used by or in the vicinity of children, pets, or individuals with disabilities.
  • Do not use the product if the power cord or plug are damaged, if it is not working properly, after it has been dropped, or if the product is damaged in any other way. Take the product to an authorised service centre to be checked, repaired or adjusted.
  • Do not use the product outdoors.
  • The product is intended to be used in dry areas. Do not use the product in bathrooms/laundry rooms or similar, or near a sink, swimming pool or other sources of water. Do not use the product in damp or wet areas, such as overflowing basement.
  • Do not place the product on an uneven or unstable surface that may cause it to tip over or fall.
  • Place the product on a flat, non-flammable surface. Do not place the product on carpets, vinyl floors, or other plastic surfaces.
  • Do not use the product as a primary source of heat.
  • Plug the product directly into a power point. Never use extension cords or power strips with the product.
  • Pull out the plug when the product is not in use.
  • Do not route the power cord under carpets etc. Place the power cord so that there is no risk of treading on it, or tripping over it.
  • Switch off the product with the power switch and pull out the plug.
  • Never insert foreign objects into the ventilation or outlet openings – risk of electric shock, fire and/or material damage.
  • Do not block the ventilation openings on the product – risk of overheating and/or fire. Do not put the product on a soft surface that could block the openings.
  • The product is hot and generates sparks. Do not use the product in an explosive environment, e.g. near flammable liquids, gas or dust.

INSTALLATION

  1. Fit the two supplied parts of the stand together and slide the upper part to the left as shown in the figure.
  2. Put the back of the unit on a stable table. The lower part of the housing needs to  extend slightly beyond the edge of the table. Put the stand on the bottom of the housing. The four holes in the bottom of the housing align precisely with the four holes in the stand. Screw the stand in place with the four supplied screws. Do not overtighten the screws!
  3. Make sure that the stand is straight and securely attached to the housing. Put the unit on the stand.

USE

  1. Plug in the plug and put the power switch on the back of the product in the On position. An audio prompt is given, and the display shows the ambient temperature. The product is in standby mode.
  2. Press the power switch/mode selector to choose low temperature, high temperature or off.
    • Press once for low temperature. The status light goes blue.
    • Press again for high temperature. The status light goes red.
    • Press a third time to switch off the product. The status light goes off. The product switches off, but the fan continues working for 15 seconds, which counts down from 15 to 0 on the display. 00 flashes 3 times, after which the ambient temperature is shown. The product returns to standby mode.
  3. Press the oscillation button to activate/deactivate oscillation.
  4. Timer: 1 to 24 hours
  5. Temp: The set point temperature range is between 15 and 40°C. Press the temperature setting button during operation to cancel the temperature setting. The product switches off automatically if the ambient temperature exceeds 50°C.
  6. Press the temperature setting button and the timer button simultaneously for 3 seconds to lock or unlock all functions.
  7. Press the oscillation button to deactivate the display and switch off all the lights. Press any button to reactivate.

HIGH AND LOW HEAT

  1. After the heater is switched on, if the set temperature is 4°C higher than the ambient temperature, the heater will continue to heat at a high level (red light) until the set temperature is reached.
  2. After the heater is switched on, if the set temperature is 2-3°C higher than the ambient temperature, the heater will continue to heat at a low level (blue light) until the set temperature is reached.
  3. The table below shows the different steps the heater shows and takes:
