Product Usage Instructions
BEFORE STARTING:
- Install the feet and wheels:
- Secure the feet to the bottom of the frame using bolts.
- Insert axles through wheels, washers, and frame; secure with hitchpins.
- Connect the battery cables.
- Add Engine Oil:
- Remove the oil dipstick.
- Using the supplied 4-cycle engine oil and funnel, slowly add engine oil to the engine until full.
- Do not overfill. If the oil level is too high, oil will drain out through the drain hose.
- Add Unleaded Gasoline to Gas Tank:
- Unscrew the gas cap on top of the tank.
- Slowly add gasoline into the fuel tank. The gasoline level should NOT be higher than the red maximum fill ring.
- Secure the gas cap.
STARTING PROCEDURE:
- Make sure all loads are disconnected from the generator.
- Open the fuel valve.
- For manual start:
- Verify the engine control switch is in the RUN (I) position.
- Move the choke to the off/cold start position.
- Pull the recoil handle repeatedly until the generator starts.
- For electric start:
- Move the choke to the on/warm start position.
- Push and hold the engine control switch in the START (II) position for two seconds.
- Connect loads to the control panel receptacles.
SHUTDOWN PROCEDURE:
- Make sure all loads are disconnected from the generator.
- Press and hold the engine control switch in the STOP (O) position for one second to stop the generator.
- Close the fuel valve.

Maintenance Guide
Following the maintenance schedule is important to keep the generator in
good operating condition. Refer to the Maintenance section in the Owner’s
Manual for detailed instructions on how to properly perform maintenance.

ENGINE OIL
Only use 4-stroke/cycle engine oil. NEVER USE 2-STROKE/CYCLE OIL. Synthetic
oil is an acceptable substitute for conventional oil.
