Registration Codes
For or Tracer Summit Version 13 and higher, the registration system is based on three codes:
- Authorization code: the software serial number found on the product USB flash drive. This code is required for each PC workstation to obtain future upgrades and customer support. When upgrading from Tracer Summit Version 13 and higher, use the authorization code on the product CD case. When upgrading an earlier version and up to Version 12, use the software serial number. Both codes start with an E.
- Locking code: a number unique to the PC. You can find it on the registration screens or by clicking About Tracer Summit on the Help menu.
- License code: a unique number based on the locking code and the authorization code. For Version 12 and earlier, it was called the registration number. This code is automatically generated during the registration process.
Keep the authorization code. It is required for upgrades and customer service support. The first five digits of the authorization code indicates the type of software package. The following table lists software packages and corresponding authorization codes.
