Product Usage Instructions
To use the WKS800 Knife Sharpener, follow these instructions:
- Place the knife sharpener on a stable surface.
- Insert the blade into the appropriate slot based on the type of blade you have:
- For regular blades, insert the blade into either the right or left slot.
- For specialized blades that only need to be sharpened on one side, insert the blade into the designated slot.
- For serrated blades, insert the blade into the strop/polish station.
- Apply light downward pressure on the blade.
- Always alternate pulls in right and left slots, except for specialized blades.
- If sharpening a serrated blade, move the blade back and forth in the strop/polish station.
- Once the blade is inserted, immediately begin to pull the blade towards you.
- Repeat the pulling motion until you achieve the desired sharpness.
- After sharpening, carefully remove the blade from the sharpener.
Note: Lubrication is not required for any moving parts of the knife sharpener.
