Product Usage Instructions
- Power Supply: Open the battery compartment cover and insert 4 x AA Alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
- Keypad: The instrument has various keypad buttons including sound ON/OFF, illumination ON/OFF, and detection accuracy adjustment.
- Operation: To use the instrument, power it on. All symbols will be displayed for 1 second. Turn the receiving window towards the laser beam. The instrument will indicate the receiver position and provide signals when the laser beam approaches the “on level” position.
- Sound: The instrument allows you to turn the sound on and off using the designated button.

POWER SUPPLY
INSERT THE BATTERIES
- Open the battery compartment cover and insert 4 x AA Alkaline batteries (ensure correct polarity).
- When the battery symbol starts flashing the batteries have to be replaced.

OPERATION
- Power the receiver on. All symbols will be displayed for 1 second; see picture 1.
- Now the receiver is ready to receive a laser beam; see picture 2.
Turn the receiving window towards the laser beam
- Display indication: „Receiver down“ – see picture 3. The relevant LED flashes and a short slow signal sounds.
- Display indication: „Receiver up“ – see picture 4. The relevant LED flashes and a short fast signal sounds.
- When the laser beam approaches the „on level“ position, the arrow decreases – see pictures 5 + 6.
- On level“ position – see picture 7. The relevant LED flashes and a long signal sounds.
SOUND
- Power on and off the sound with button 2) – see pictures 8 and 9.
- When the sound is switched on, the signal sounds as described before.
- Basically: Each time a button is pressed, a signal sounds – regardless of whether the sound is on or off.
ACCURACY COARSE / FINE
- Select the accuracy mode requested with button 5) –
- picture 10 = accuracy coarse
- picture 11 = accuracy fine
NOTE
In case the receiver loses the signal, the last position received is recorded
in the display for 5 seconds; this makes it possible to see in which position
the receiver must start again.
DISPLAY ILLUMINATION
- Switch on and off the display illumination with button 3).
STANDBY FUNCTION
- Keep button 3) pressed for 3 sec. to switch on and off the standby function.
- In this mode the receiver will automatically power off after 30 min. without signal to save battery power.

CARE AND CLEANING
- Handle measuring instruments with care.
- Clean with soft cloth only after any use.
- If necessary damp the cloth with some water.
- If the instrument is wet clean and dry it carefully.
- Pack it up only if it is perfectly dry.
- Transport in original container / case only.
ELECTROMAGNETIC ACCEPTABILITY (EMC)
It cannot be completely excluded that this instrument will disturb other
instruments (e.g. navigation systems); will be disturbed by other instruments
(e.g. intensive electromagnetic radiation nearby industrial facilities or
radio transmitters).
CE-CONFORMITY
This instrument has the CE mark according to EN 61000-6-3:2007,
EN61000-6-1:2007.
WARRANTY
This product is warranted by the manufacturer to the original purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase. During the warranty period, and upon proof of purchase, the product will be repaired or replaced (with the same or similar model at manufacturers option), without charge for either parts or labour. In case of a defect please contact the dealer where you originally purchased this product. The warranty will not apply to this product if it has been misused, abused or altered. Without limiting the foregoing, leakage of the battery, bending or dropping the unit are presumed to be defects resulting from misuse or abuse.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Follow up the instructions given in the user manual.
- Do not stare into the beam. The laser beam can lead to eye injury. A direct look into the beam (even from greater distance) can cause damage to your eyes.
- Do not aim the laser beam at persons or animals.
- The laser plane should be set up above the eye level of persons.
- Use the instrument for measuring jobs only.
- Do not open the instrument housing. Repairs should be carried out by authorized workshops only.
- Please contact your local dealer.
- Do not remove warning labels or safety instructions.
- Keep the instrument away from children.
- Do not use the instrument in explosive environment.
- The user manual must always be kept with the instrument.

- The user of this product is expected to follow the instructions given in the user manual. Although all instruments left our warehouse in perfect condition and adjustment the user is expected to carry out periodic checks of the product’s accuracy and general performance.
