IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be followed, including the following
- READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Only use side handles or knobs for carrying or moving.
- To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse the power cord, plugs or appliance in water or other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.
- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.

- Do not let power cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not place the appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or a heated oven.

- Do not use appliance for anything other than intended use.
- This appliance cooks under pressure. Improper use may result in scalding injury. Make certain unit is properly closed before operating. Please see the “Getting Started” section.
- Do not fill the appliance over 2/3 full. When cooking foods that expand during cooking such as rice or dried vegetables, do not fill the appliance over 1/2 full. Over filling may cause a risk of clogging the vent pipe and developing excess pressure. See the “Food Preparation/Pressure Cooking” section.
- . Do not open the appliance until the appliance has cooled and all internal pressure has been released. If the float valve is still up and/or the lid is difficult to open, this indicates that the appliance is still pressurized – do not force it open. Any pressure in the appliance can be hazardous. Please see the “Getting Started” section for instructions to safely remove lid.
- Always check the pressure release devices for clogging before use.
- Do not use this appliance for pressure frying with oil.
- To prevent risk of explosion and injury, replace only dynamic seal ring as recommended by the manufacturer. See Operating Instructions.
- Intended for countertop use only.
- WARNING: Spilled food can cause serious burns. Keep appliance and cord away from children. Never drape cord over edge of counter, never use outlet below counter, and never use with an extension cord.
- CAUTION: Risk of Electric Shock. Cook only in removable container.
- This appliance is not intended for deep frying foods.
ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To
reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a
polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit into the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.
Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
POWER SUPPLY CORD
- A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
- If the power supply cord is too short, do not use an extension cord. Have a qualified electrician or serviceman install an outlet near the appliance.
- If it is absolutely necessary to use longer cord sets or an extension cord, extreme care must be exercised.
- The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord must equal to or be greater than the electrical rating of the appliance. The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the counter top or table top where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.

Tips:
- Confirm that the float valve, block proof cover and seal ring are correctly installed before use each time;
- Before putting the inner pot into the cooker each time, please remove the dirt and water from the external side of the inner pot and internal side of the external pot;
- Please move the product using the base handles of the cooker body;
- Please remove water from the housing cover with cloth.
Note:
- Exhaust valve: Pull out the exhaust valve from the lid. Clean the exhaust valve and float valve of the lid with brush and cloth at least once a month.
- Sealing gate: Please remove oil and dirt from the sealing gate with detergent and brush. The remaining oil and dirt in it may appear yellowish. After washing, it may recover to the original color as stainless steel. It is suggested to clean the sealing gate once every 2 months.
- Condensation collector: After cooking, the steam may build up in the condensation collector as water. Water in the collector should be removed using a clean cloth to avoid odors.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
BEFORE FIRST USE
When using for the first time, please take out all accessories from the cooker
body, read the User Manual carefully, particularly for usage and cautions to
avoid property loss or personal physical injury.
CONTROL PANEL
TEXTURE/Pressure function
To change the consistency of the food (LOW, MID, HIGH), simply press
“TEXTURE”. The appropriate light will display, indicating that the time has
been changed. The time in the display will automatically adjust accordingly.
(Ex: For the “rice” function, “LOW” is 7 minutes, “MID” is 10 minutes and
“HIGH” is 21 minutes.)
Cooking Timer Function
When using Timer function, first press “Timer” and then adjust the timer
manually by pressing “+” or “-” buttons to adjust duration of cooking time.
Delay Timer Function
Set the time of finishing cooking by pressing the “+”/“-” button.

| 1. Check if the seal ring and block proof cover are correctly installed in the upper cover before use each time.
2. After use, please clean the seal ring and around block proof cover to avoid jamming the cover, keep it clean to avoid bad odor.

| 1. Please do not pull the seal ring, otherwise, the distorted seal may influence the sealing and pressure effect.
2. Do not use the damaged sealing, please replace it at the authorized repair office.
USE AND MAINTAIN THE INNER POT
- Do not remove for extended period Inner pot may become yellowed, spotted or stained. Bottom may become distorted when removed from cooker for extended periods of time.
- Do not use it to store acid, alkali and preserved foods for a long period Although the inner pot has excellent anti-corrosion performance, the inner pot may be corroded to a certain degree when warm foods and substances are stored longer than 24 hours.
- Keep it clean to prolong the service life Do not immerse it in water for a long period. Clean the inner pot with soap, weak detergent or warm water to remove dust, oil and dirt.
- Do not scratch it with steel wire brushes and scrubs Soften the burnt foods on the bottom with water and then remove it.
Tips:
The bright inner pot has smooth and polished surface before use. After long
periods of use, the surface can lose its shine and luster after repeated
cleanings with hard scrubs. It is normal and won’t influence the function of
the product.
PREPARE FOR COOKING
Opening the lid correctly
Hold the handle of upper cover, turn it counterclockwise for about 30° till the “ ” mark on the edge of the upper cover lines up with the“ ” mark on the edge of the housing cover, and then lift the upper cover.
Check if the parts and accessories of lid are correctly installed
Check if the floater valve and exhaust valve are jammed, confirm if the sealing ring and block proof cover are installed appropriately.
Take out the inner pot, put the foods and water into the inner pot
- The total amount of foods and water shall not exceed the Max marked on the inner pot.
- The max rice and water amount when cooking shall not exceed the Max on the inner pot.
Put the inner pot into the cooker
- Wipe to clean the external surface of inner pot, foreign object and water are not allowed on the inner surface of electric pressure cooker;
- Turn the inner pot to left and right to ensure good contact with the heating plate.
Safely close the lid
- Before closing the lid, check if the sealing ring is installed correctly.
- Hold the handle of upper cover, line the “ ” mark on the edge of the upper cover with the “ ” mark on the edge of the housing cover, press down and turn the upper cover clockwise for about 30° to lock in place, and aim the “ ” mark on the edge of the housing cover with the “ ” mark on the lid.
Switch the exhaust valve
- When cooking, please turn the exhaust valve to the sealing position, which means the electric pressure cooker keeps at sealing state;
- For manual exhaust, please turn the exhaust valve handle to the exhaust position, the electric pressure cooker keeps at the exhaust state; when exhausting, do not keep hands or face above the exhaust opening;
- Check if the floater valve drops down before working (before heating, the floater valve is down).
GENERAL FUNCTION
- Prepare for cooking according to the method listed on Page 8 and 9.
- Confirm if lid is closed correctly as buttons will remain inactive if lid is out of place or open. Press START/ON/OFF button if display is active and ready for use.
- Under standby state, the corresponding indicator will be displayed when the following buttons are pressed: The “TEXTURE” light is on. Press “TEXTURE” you can choose “LOW”, “MID” OR “HIGH”. Then press “START/ON/OFF”, to begin cooking. When the pressure goes up and become set-up pressure, it becomes stable. Display will show the timetable and count down.
- After cooking, the cooker may automatically enter into the keep warm state. The time of keep warm shall not exceed 24h.
- When cooking is complete, the corresponding function turns off and enters the keep warm feature. When keep warm is activated, the cooker will beep and the keep warm light will remain active. When on standby, press the “Warm” button to keep the warm indicator lights on. The machine will beep to confirm keep warm feature is active.
Tips:
During any cooking operation, press the “CANCEL” button to cancel the current
work state and return to standby state. Occasional clicking sounds during
cooking is normal. To cook a small amount of food, the inner pot may possibly
be lifted when opening the lid, please shake the lid to drop the inner pot in
the cooker body and then remove the lid.

Turn the exhaust valve to the exhaust position to release steam until the float valve drops down. (For non-fluid foods) -
Natural cooling method
Let the electric pressure cooker cool naturally till the float valve drops down.

Open the lid
- Turn the upper cover counterclockwise until the lid is unlocked and lift to open the lid.
- Do not open the lid before the pressure in the pot has been completely released. DO NOT attempt to open the lid by force if it is difficult to open.
- Do not pull out the exhaust valve when turning the exhaust valve.
- After cooking fluid foods (porridge and soup), do not turn the exhaust valve, please cut off power supply to make it cool naturally till the float drops before opening the lid.
- After cooking a large amount of food, please do not immediately exhaust, it is suggested to keep warm before opening the lid.

| When the power is on, the digital screen displays nothing, the LED is not on, the buzzer does not sound and the appliance does not heat up.
Standby
| When “ ” is pressed, the digital screen will display 88:88, the LED will be on for one second, and the buzzer will sound once.
Then the appliance will enter the standby state, the digital screen will display “— — — —”, and the LED will light off.
Rice
| 1. Normal cooking: In the standby state, when the “Rice” button is pressed, the “Rice” indicator will flash and the “MID” light will be on, while the digital screen will display “Auto”, showing that the pressure maintaining time will be automatically adjusted. Press the “TEXTURE” button to adjust the preset texture settings: “LOW/MID/HIGH”. Press to start cooking, then the buzzer will sound and the digital screen will display . When the pressure rises, will light on, and the digital screen will display the pressure maintaining time and start to count down. When
the countdown is complete, the cooking is finished and the buzzer will sound, while the system automatically keeps warm. The “Warm” indicator is on and the digital screen will display the warm-keeping time. At this time, you can open the lid and enjoy the food.
2. Delay cooking: Press the “Rice” button and the “Timer” button during standby mode to enter delay cooking mode, the “Rice”, “MID” and “Timer” indicators will light on and the digital screen will display the preservation time “2:00” by default. Press the “Timer” button again and the “+” /
“-” buttons to adjust the time. Press to start delay
cooking, then the buzzer will sound and will light on, and the digital screen will start to count down. When the countdown is complete, the cooking is finished and the

Note: Please note that when using this function, do not put food directly into the inner pot. Before making a cake, place the steam rack in the bottom and pour some water into the inner pot first, then put your materials in a plate, and carefully center the filled plate on the steam rack.
Slow Cook

KEEP WARM FUNCTION$
- After cooking, the electric pressure cooker automatically enters into the keep warm state; when the keep warm feature is active, the keep warm indicator will remain lit.
- During standby state, you may also press the “ Warm” button to keep warm;
- Keep warm temperature is 140°F~176°F;
DAILY CHECK AND MAINTENANCE
To use the product safely with a longer service life, please carefully check
and maintain it.

Warning on Opening the lid
• When the electric pressure cooker is not working, there isn’t pressure in the pot, the float valve is down;
• When the electric pressure cooker is working, pressure in the cooker rises, float valve ascends; do not forcefully open the lid before the pressure has been completely released;

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Clean after each use.
- Before cleaning and maintenance, please unplug the power cord until the product cools.
- Remove the lid and inner pot, clean with detergent first, then rinse well with water, and wipe dry with a soft cloth.
- Clean the internal side of the lid with water, the seal ring, block proof cover, exhaust valve core and float valve can be removed for washing, timely and correctly install them after washing, and then dry the internal side of lid with cloth.
- Wipe clean the cooker body with a rag, and it is prohibited to soak the cooker body in water or spray water to it.

the USA or Puerto Rico. W Appliance Co. warrants to the original purchaser
that the appliance will be free from defects in material, parts and
workmanship for the period designated for this appliance. The warranty
commences the day the appliance is purchased and covers up to a period of
1 year (12 months) for labor/1 year (12 months) for parts (manufacturing
defects only).
W Appliance Co. agrees that it will, at its option, replace the defective
appliance with either a new or remanufactured appliance equivalent to your
original purchase during the warranty period.
Exclusions: This warranty does not apply to the below:
