Product Usage Instructions

Power Supply

  1. Power on/off the receiver by pressing the button.
  2. All displays will briefly light up once, then the unit automatically enters reception mode.

Selecting Accuracy Mode

Press the button to select the desired accuracy mode. The selected mode will be saved automatically.

Adjusting Volume

Press the button to set the volume level. A beep will sound to confirm the adjustment.

Switching On/Off Lighting

Press the button to toggle the lighting on or off.

Detecting the Laser Line

  • LED lights: Move the receiver down
  • LED lights: Move the receiver up

Safety Instructions

  • Handle measuring instruments with care.
  • Clean with a soft cloth only after use.
  • If necessary, dampen the cloth with water for cleaning.
  • If the instrument gets wet, clean and dry it carefully before storing it.
  • Transport in the original container/case only.

POWER SUPPLY

INSTALLATION OF THE BATTERIES

  • Open the battery compartment cover (11).
  • Insert 2 x AA Alkaline batteries according to the installation symbol (ensure correct polarity!). Close the cover.
  • To save battery power the receiver will automatically turn off if it has not received a laser scanning signal for 5 minutes.
  • When the battery symbol of the display starts flashing the batteries must be replaced.

OPERATION

Power on/off the receiver

  • Press the button to power on/off the receiver.
  • First, all displays light up once briefly (fig. 1).
  • Then the unit automatically enters the reception mode (fig. 2).

Select the receiving accuracy

  • Press the button to select the accuracy mode requested.
  • The mode selected will be saved automatically.
  • (fig. on the right)

Set the volume

  • Press the button to set the volume requested. (a beep sounds to confirm) (fig. right)

Switch on/off the lighting

  • Press the button to switch on/off the lighting.

DETECT THE LASER LINE

  • The laser line is below the „0″ position
  • slow short beep
  • the upper red LED lights
  • Move the receiver down
  • The laser line is above the „O” position fast short beep the lower yellow LED lights => Move the receiver up
  • The laser line is not detected

SAFETY NOTES

CARE AND CLEANING

  • Handle measuring instruments with care. Clean with a soft cloth only after any use.
  • If necessary damp the cloth with some water.
  • If the instrument is wet clean and dry it carefully.
  • Pack it up only if it is perfectly dry. Transport in original container/case only.

ELECTROMAGNETIC ACCEPTABILITY (EMC)

  • It cannot be completely excluded that this instrument will disturb other instruments (e.g. navigation systems); and will be disturbed by other instruments (e.g. intensive electromagnetic radiation near industrial facilities or radio transmitters).

CE-Conformity

  • The instrument has the CE mark according to EN 61010-1:2001 + corrig. 1+2.

WARRANTY

  • This product is warranted by the manufacturer to the original purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for two (2) years from the date of purchase. During the warranty period, and upon proof of purchase, the product will be repaired or replaced (with the same or similar model at the manufacturer’s option), without charge for either parts or labor. In case of a defect please contact the dealer where you originally purchased this product.
  • The warranty will not apply to this product if it has been misused, abused, or altered. Without limiting the foregoing, leakage of the battery, and bending or dropping the unit are presumed to be defects resulting from misuse or abuse.

  1. The user of this product is expected to follow the instructions given in the user manual.
    • Although all instruments left our warehouse in perfect condition and adjustment the user is expected to carry out periodic checks of the product’s accuracy and general performance.
