DESCRIPTION

  • The PIR motion sensor sends an alarm when it detects the movement of people or animals within the detection area.
  • This is a SMART product that can be connected to existing WiFi and controlled via the app Smart Life, or with a voice assistant. Does not require a separate hub/ router. You can control all SMART products in the app and use functions such as timer control, scheduling and automatised events.

FUNCTIONS

  • Alarm alert – The sensor sends an alarm when it detects a person or an animal moving in the detection area.
  • Push notification – When movement is detected, a push notification is sent immediately to your phone.
  • Alarm recording – All alarm records can be checked in the app – no risk of missing anything important.
  • Device sharing – Added sensors can be shared with family and friends, so everyone who needs to can monitor the status.
  • Intelligent linkage – Can be linked up to Light or other smart Tuya devices

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Check that the smartphone is connected to the 2.4 GHz WiFi network and switch on the light. WiFi router. iPhone, iPad (IOS 11.0 or higher) or Android (5.0 or higher). Compatible with Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa etc.

USE
Open the cover of the battery compartment and insert 2 batteries, observing the correct polarity, or connect the micro USB charging cable provided to a USB power supply.

INSTALL APP

  1. Scan the QR code to download the Smart Life app. Or search at App Store or Google Play.

  2. Register account with mobile phone number or email address. A verification code is sent with SMS or email. Enter the code in the app and choose a password. If you already have an account, log in using your mobile phone number or email address and password.
    Connect your mobile phone to the WiFi router, click on + in the top right-hand corner of the home screen, then click on “Add Device”.

  3. Bluetooth – The app tells you to activate Bluetooth on your mobile phone and to enter the WiFi network name and password. It searches for nearby devices and the motion sensor is automatically connected.

  4. Blink quickly – Select “Motion Detector” (Wi-Fi) under Sensors and enter the WiFi network name and password. Select “Blink Quickly” and check that the indicator is blinking quickly. If it is not, press and hold the reset button for about five seconds until the indicator is blinking quickly.Bright-P06-Smart-Motion-Sensor-fig-3

  5. Another option is “Blink slowly”. Check that the indicator is blinking slowly. If it is not, press and hold the reset button for about five seconds until the indicator is blinking slowly. Connect your mobile phone to the device’s hotspot: Select “SmartLife-xxx” and click to return to the app interface. It automatically connects to the WiFi router and the configuration is completed.

  6. When the network configuration is completed, the device can be mounted wherever coverage is required, for example directly on a platform or table, or on a wall using the mounting tape provided or with a screwBright-P06-Smart-Motion-Sensor-fig-6

NOTE:

  • The motion sensor is sensitive to heat and light interference. IR rays emitted from a human body have poor penetration performance and can easily be hidden and difficult to detect.
  • The motion sensor is sensitive to radio frequency interference. The sensor’s detection sensitivity is reduced and may not function temporarily when the ambient air temperature is close to human body temperature.
