Product Usage Instructions

  1. Long press the upper button for 2 seconds to turn on the device. The default mode is Free Jumping mode.
  2. Free Jumping Mode: Jump without time or repetition limit.
  3. Time Countdown Mode: Jump with a time limit. You can choose from 30 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, and customized time on the Skipjoy App. Without the app, the device will record the last selected period of time.
  4. Jump Countdown Mode: Set a limit of the number of jumps. You can choose from 50, 100, 500, 1000, and customized number of jumps on the Skipjoy App. Without the App, the device will record the last selected number of jumps.
  5. Consumed Calories Mode: When the jumping stops above 1.3 seconds, it will display the number of jumps and the jumping time. At the same time, short press the button to switch the screen, and the display will show the consumed calorie data.

The display in different modes can also be switched using the Skipjoy App. No mode can be switched during jumping. To install the other jump handle, follow the same instructions as shown above.

Additional Information

  • The product should not be used near a receiving antenna to avoid interference.
  • Increase the separation between the product and receiver to improve reception.
  • Connect the product to an outlet on a different circuit than the receiver if necessary.
  • Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for assistance if needed.
  • Changes or modifications not approved by the responsible party may void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.

Display in Different Modes

Free Jumping Mode

  • Long press the upper button for 2S to turn on the device.
  • The default mode is Free jumping mode.

Time Countdown Mode

  • Short press the upper button to switch to Time countdown mode.
  • Short press the button to adjust the countdown time.

Jump Countdown Mode

  • Short press the upper button to switch Jump countdown mode.
  • Short press the button to adjust the countdown number of jumps.

The display in different modes can be also switched by Skipjoy App. No mode can be switched during the jumping.

Consumed Calories Mode

  • When the Jumping stops above 1.3 seconds, it will display the number of jumping and the jumping time. At the same time, short press the button to switch the screen, the display will show out the consumed calorie data.

Installation of the Jump Rope

The jump handle and the rope are packed separately in the box, please follow the below steps to install the rope and adjust the length accordingly.

Important Note: To avoid inaccurate, please make sure the longer rope is installed in the inside part of the handle.

  • Please adjust the length of the jump rope to suit your height.

Battery Installation

Note: Please pay attention to the correct installation direction of the battery positive and negative electrodes, otherwise the product cannot be used normally.

Operation

  1. Before starting using the jump rope, please download the App: Skipjoy from App store or Google play. Or you can scan below QR code to download the App.
  2. When you install the App, please accept the permission requirement on Bluetooth, GPS & Location if your phone is operated under Android system;

It is required by Google that all the smart phones operated with Android Ver. 6.0 or above must ask for the permission of location if any BLE device could be scanned and linked through Bluetooth. Any private information would not be collected by the App. You can also refer to the official document of Google for more information: https://source.android.com/devices/bluetooth/ble

  2. Skipjoy will automatically pair the jump rope, you can check the main interface on the App to check the status of connection.
    • “Connected” shown on the main interface means successful pairing.
    • “Disconnected” shown on the main interface means unsuccessful pairing. In this condition, please press “Mine” -> “Device” -›”+” to add the device manually.
  3. Click the mode you need on the main interface on the App to start your jumping;

Jump Modes

Free Jumping / Time countdown Jumping / Numbers countdown Jumping

  1. Keep pressing the button for about 3 seconds to shift the mode you need.
  2. You can also choose the mode from App.

Free Jumping:

  • Jump the rope freely and there is no limit on time and number of jumps.

Time countdown Jumping:

  • set the total jumping time.
  • options for time can be set on App: 30 sec, 1 min, 5 min, 10 min, and customized time;
  • Without the App, the rope will use the last countdown setting of time from the App.

Numbers countdown Jumping

  • set the total jumps;
  • options for number of jumps can be set on App: 50, 100, 500, 1000 and customized number of jumps

Offline storage function

  • Without the running of App, the data of your jumping will be recorded temporarily by the rope and synchronized with the App after re-connection.

Reset the rope

  • Press the button on the back of the LCD display for 8 seconds, the rope will be reset.
  • The LCD will show all the signals for 2 seconds and then shut down. Press the button again to enter the normal use.

Maintenance

Caution and Maintenance

  • Do not put the rope in very wet or hot environment.
  • Avoid hitting or dropping the rope violently, otherwise damage may occur.
  • Treat the rope with care as it is an electronic instrument.
  • Do not immerse the handle into water or use it while raining, because it is not waterproof and damage may occur to the built-in electronic device.
  • The rope is only used for the purpose of physical exercise. Do not use it for other purposes.
  • Be careful when using the rope to avoid any injuries, and children under 10 are suggested to use the rope under the watch of parents

Battery and recharge

Battery: The rope has a 2 x 1.5V AAA battery which could sustain normal use of about 25 days (calculated based on a daily use of 15 minutes, actual using time varies according to the environment and time of use). The typical stand-by time is 33 days (experimental data of the manufacturer under the temperature 25 °C and humidity 65%RH).

Recharge

  • If the signal Lo shows on the screen, Please replace new AAA batteries.

Tips for Maintain

  • For the better life span of the battery, do not leave the rope with no battery for a long time. It is suggested to charge the rope when the battery is low. When you do not use the rope for a long time, it is suggested to charge the rope once a month.
  • Do not open the handle lest any damage would happen to the rope.
  • Do not burn the handle with batteries to avoid explosion of the battery.
  • The rope should not be disposed of with household waste. Please check with your local authority for battery recycling advice.
