FRONTIER Wi-Fi Extender
Product Information
The Wi-Fi Extender is a device that helps extend the range and improve the
signal strength of your existing Wi-Fi network. It is designed to be placed in
an area of your home where you currently have a poor Wi-Fi signal. The
Extender needs to be positioned
upright on a solid surface for optimal performance.
The setup process is quick and easy, taking up to 10 minutes to complete. The Extender has two LED indicators: the Wi-Fi LED and the Internet LED. These LEDs provide visual feedback on the status of the Extender’s connection with your Router.
Product Usage Instructions
- Place the Extender in an area where you have a weak Wi-Fi signal.
- Ensure the Extender is standing straight up on a solid surface.
- Plug in the power to the Extender and wait for the Wi-Fi LED to turn green and the Internet LED to turn red.
- Press the WPS button on your Router.
- Within 15 seconds, press the WPS button on the Extender.
- The Wi-Fi LED on both the Router and Extender will flash yellow briefly.
- The Extender’s Wi-Fi LED will then flash between green and red, indicating it is in pairing mode with the Router. This process may take several minutes.
- Once the Extender’s Internet and Wi-Fi LED lights are solid green, it means the Extender is successfully connected to the Router.
- If the Extender’s Internet and Wi-Fi LED lights do not become solid green, try moving the Extender to a different location closer to the Router and start over from Step 1.
