Power Up

  1. Insert 2-AA batteries into your Temperature Sensor.
  2. Insert 6-AA batteries into your Atomic Clock.
  3. Once the sensor is reading your Clock, place the sensor outside.

Buttons

| Press to search for Atomic Time Signal.
Hold to enter Settings Menu.
---|---
+ (PLUS)| Settings: Press and release to adjust settings. Hold to adjust quickly.
Hold to search for Outdoor Sensor.
– (MINUS)| Settings: Press and release to adjust settings. Hold to adjust quickly.
| Press and release to switch between Desired Time or Local Time.
Hold to adjust your Desired Time hour.
| Press and release to adjust the information displayed: Time, Desired Hour (if set) Outdoor Temperature… etc. The Auto-Scroll Icon will show when active.
| Press and release to select Calendar Display.
°F|°C| Press and release to select Fahrenheit or Celsius Temperature Display.

 Settings Menu

  1. Hold the button until the display changes to enter the Settings Menu.
  2. Press and release the + or – button to adjust values.
  3. Press and release the  button to confirm and move to next item.
  4. Press and release the ºF/ºC button at any time to exit.

Settings order:

  • Language (English, Spanish, French, German)
  • Beep ON/OFF
  • Atomic ON/OFF
  • DST AUTOMATIC / DST ALWAYS OFF / DST ALWAYS ON (Change Spring/Fall) (No change in Spring) (No change in Fall)
  • Time Zone
  • 12/24 Format
  • Hour
  • Minutes
  • Year
  • Month
  • Date
  • Month/Date or Date/Month

Language: Whichever language is selected, the following instructions and weekday will be presented in that language.
Atomic Off: When Atomic Off is selected, you will move directly to the 12/24 Hour setting.
Weekday: Weekday will set automatically when the Year, Month and Date are set.
Farenheit or Celsius: Press and release the ºF/ºC button to select your temperature display.

Custom Date Display

Press and release the button to change how the Calendar is displayed.

Custom Time/Temperature Display

Press the button to adjust the data displayed on screen.

  • Current Time/Indoor Temp

  • Auto-Scroll

When the Auto-scroll Icon is showing, the clock will switch between these options every 5 seconds.

Desired Hour (Time Adjust)

Have your clock match other times around the world by setting a Desired Hour, kept accurate by the Atomic time signal.
Note: only the hour can be changed.

Set Desired Hour:

  1. Hold the button until the Hour flashes, “Desired Hour” will show.
  2. Press and release the + (PLUS) button to adjust the hour. Press and release the – (MINUS) button to reset the hour to “Local Time”.
  3. Press the button to confirm and exit.

Switch between Desired Time and Local time:

  • Press and release the button to switch between Desired Time and Local Time.
  • Desired Time is indicated with the icon.

Note: In the event of battery change or reset, these settings will need to be readjusted.

Atomic Time

  • Your Clock will automatically search for the Atomic Time Signal at UTC 7:00, 8:00, 9:00, 10:00, and 11:00.
  • Press the button to manually start or stop search for the WWVB Atomic Time Signal.
  • While searching, the Tower Icon will flash. The Tower Icon will be solid when the WWVB Signal is received by your clock.

Search for Sensors
If you are seeing “NO” or dashes for any sensor readings, please try the following steps:

  1. Hold the PLUS (+) button to search for all sensors.
    The Reception Indicator will begin to animate.

  2. If after 3 minutes the sensor still isn’t connected, bring the sensor inside next to the display and remove power from the sensor and clock.

  3. Press any button on the station 20 times and leave the parts sit for a few moments with the power off.

  4. Install a new set of alkaline batteries into the sensor, then power up your clock again.

Sensor Placement & Mounting

For Accurate Temperature/Humidity Measurements

  • Insert a mounting screw through the hole at the top to securely mount the sensor. It can also hang from the back using a nail.
  • Mount the sensor vertically in a protected well-shaded area. Keeping it out of direct weather elements such as sunlight, rain, snow, etc. will help avoid inaccurate readings.
  • For additional protection against weather elements, a Sensor Weather Shield: bit.ly/weather-shield can be purchased separately.
  • The maximum wireless transmission range to the station is up to 330ft (100m) in open air. This does not include walls, floors, or other large obstructions.

Low Battery Icons

  • Low Battery Icon by the Time, replace batteries in the Clock.
  • Low Battery Icon  by Outdoor Temperature, replace batteries in the Outdoor Sensor.

Sensor Weather Shield

  • The Sensor Weather Shield is designed to protect your outdoor sensor from rain and snow.
  • This shield will offer limited protection from the sun’s heat.

Care & Maintenance

When batteries of different brand or type are used together, or new and old batteries are used together, some batteries may be over-discharged due to a difference of voltage or capacity. This can result in venting, leakage, and rupture and may cause personal injury.
