USER GUIDE

BUZZ Digital Alarm Clock with Vibration and Loud Sound

Model: 617-147

OVERVIEW

BASICS

Power Up

1. Move the red stand to the top of the clock.
2. Slide the battery cover down to remove it.
3. Insert 3 “AA” alkaline batteries into the back of your clock.
4. Slide the battery cover up until it clicks into place.
5. Pull the red stand down until it locks into place at the bottom of your clock.
6. Set time.

Set Time

1. Hold the ALARM/TIME SET button until the display changes to enter the Time Settings.
2. Press and release the + or – button to adjust values. Hold to adjust quickly.
3. Press and release the ALARM/TIME SET button to confirm settings and move to the next menu item.
4. Press and release the BACKLIGHT/SNOOZE button at anytime to exit the settings menu.

Buttons

1. ALARM/TIME SET

Hold to enter Time Settings. Press and release to to set the Alarm Time.

2. BACKLIGHT/SNOOZE

Press and release to activate the backlight briefly. When alarm sounds, press to silence the alarm temporarily.

3. MINUS

Press and release to adjust by one setting. Hold to adjust quickly.

4. PLUS

Press and release to adjust by one setting. Hold to adjust quickly.

5. SOUND ALARM SWITCH

Slide to ON to activate the alarm. Slide to OFF to deactivate the alarm.

6. VIBRATION ALARM SWITCH

Slide to ON to activate the alarm. Slide to OFF to deactivate the alarm.

Note: Press or hold one button at a time during setup.

ALARM

Time Alarm

Set Alarm Time(s)

1. Slide the Sound Alarm Switch and/or the VIbration Alarm Switch to the ON position.
2. Press and release the ALARM/SET button until “AL” shows. The Alarm Hour will flash.
3. Press and release the + or – button to adjust. Hold to adjust quickly.
4. Press and release the ALARM/SET button to move to the Alarm Minutes.
5. Press and release the the + or – button to adjust. Hold to adjust quickly.
6. Press and release the ALARM/SET button to confirm and exit.

Deactivate / Activate the Alarms

1. Slide the Sound Alarm and/or Vibration Alarm to the OFF position to deactivate.
2. Slide the Sound Alarm and/or Vibration Alarm to the ON position to activate

When an alarm triggers, the backlight will flash for about 10 seconds, and the alarm(s) will engage.
The sound and/or vibration will activate for 2 minutes and then shut off if no buttons are pressed.

Note: The vibration alarm may cause your clock to “walk off” the nightstand.

Press the SNOOZE/BACKLIGHT button to snooze Alarm for 10 minutes.
The Snooze Icon ZZ will flash.
When the snooze time ends the alarm will sound or vibrate and the backlight will flash.
The Snooze feature may be repeated.

Backlight

Press the SNOOZE/BACKLIGHT button to activate the backlight for about five seconds.

Low Battery Indicator

When the Low Battery Indicator appears, replace the batteries in the clock.

Care & Maintenance

When batteries of different brand or type are used together, or new and old batteries are used together, some batteries may be over-discharaged due to a difference of voltage or capacity. This can result in venting, leakage, and rupture and may cause personal injury.

Do not mix Alkaline, Lithium, standard, or rechargeable batteries.
Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for the intended use.
Always replace the whole set of batteries at one time, taking care not to mix old and new ones, or batteries of different types.
Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.
Ensure the batteries are installed correctly with regard to polarity (+ and -).
Remove batteries from product during periods of non-use. Battery leakage can cause corrosion and damage to this product.
Remove used batteries promptly.
For recycling and disposal of batteries, and to protect the environment, please check the internet or your local phone directory for local recycling centers and/or follow local government regulations.

Recycling & Disposal

Please consider the environment when deciding to dispose of this product. Although household electronics are generally safe to use on a daily basis, incorrect disposal can cause negative and potentially irreversible impacts on our environment.

Check with local donation centers to see if your product can be donated for future use. If disposal is the only option, federal agencies, local governments, and certified retailers may have electronic recycling programs in place. Programs may vary based on location.
