Atomic Digital Wall Clock SET UP GUIDE
MODEL: 513-1417CHv2
POWER UP
- Insert 2-AA batteries into your Outdoor Sensor.
- Insert 2-AA batteries Into your Clock.
- Enter the Settings Menu to adjust your time and date.
- Once the sensor is reading to your clock, place the sensor outside in a shaded location. View our sensor mounting video here: bit.ly/th_sensor_mounting
Atomic Time Signal
- The clock will search for the Atomic Time Signal at power up and at UTC 7:00, 8:00, 9:00, 10:00, and 11:00.
- The Atomic Time Signal Icon will flash while searching and be solid when it has connected.
- From the normal time display, press the SET button to manually start or stop a search for the WWVB time signal. For information about WWVB visit: bit.ly/atomic_time.
SETTINGS MENU
- Hold the SET button until the display changes to enter the Settings Menu. Press and release the + or – buttons to adjust values. Hold to adjust quickly.
- Press and release the SET button to confirm values and move to the next setting.
- Press and releas the SNOOZE button at any time to exit.

Language: Whichever language is selected, the following instructions and
weekday will be presented in that language.
Weekday: Your weekday display will adjust automatically once you have
your Year, Month, and Date settings set correctly.
TIME ALARM
Set Alarm:
- Hold the ALARM button to enter alarm setting mode. ALARM will show and the hour will flash. Press and release the + or – buttons to choose the hour.
- Press and release the ALARM to confirm and move to the minutes. The minutes will flash. Press and release the + or – buttons to choose the minutes.
- Press and release the ALARM button to confirm and exit.
- Press and release the SNOOZE button at any time to exit.
Silence a Sounding Alarm: Press any button except SNOOZE to silence
the alarm for 24 hours.
Activate/Deactivate Alarm:
- Press and release the ALARM button to view the Alarm Time. Press and release again to activate or deactivate the alarm.
- The Alarm Icon will show when alarm is active.
Snooze: When the alarm is active, press the SNOOZE button to silence the
alarm for 10 minutes. The alarm Icon will flash while snoozing.
Note: The alarm will sound with increasing frequency for two minutes,
then shut off automatically if not silenced.
MOON PHASE
The moon phase is based on the Lunar Calendar and the year, month, and date settings.
HI / LO TEMPERATURE
High and Low Temperature Records will automatically reset daily at midnight.
- Press and release the + (PLUS) button once to view High Indoor and Outdoor Temperatures.
- Press and release the + (PLUS) button twice to view Low Indoor and Outdoor Temperatures.
- Press again to return to normal time display.
Manually Reset Records:
- Hold the + (PLUS) button to manuall reset the High and Low records.
TEMPERATURE TREND ARROWS
Both the Indoor and Outdoor Temperature values have Trend Arrows to indicate changes (1°C / 2°F or more) over the past three hour period.

SEARCH FOR OUTDOOR SENSOR
If you are seeing NO for your outdoor readings, please try the following steps:
- Hold the – (MINUS) button to search for your outdoor sensor. The Reception Indicator will begin to animate.
- If after 3 minutes the sensor still isn’t connected, bring the sensor inside next to the display and remove power from both the sensor and clock.
- Press any button on the clock 20 times and leave the parts sit for a few moments with the power off.
- Install a new set of alkaline batteries into the sensor, then into your clock. For additional help visit: bit.ly/basic_restart
LOW BATTERY INDICATOR
- Low Battery Icon by Outdoor Temperature, replace batteries in the Outdoor Sensor.
- Low Battery Icon by the Time, replace batteries in the Clock.
