Thank you for purchasing an AquaOne CHJ Series internal filter. Read the user manual carefully before use to ensure you use the device properly.
Warranty
The guarantee period is 2 years, valid from the invoice date. The wearing parts of the filter are not covered by the warranty. The damage caused by improper use is excluded from the warranty.
Instruction for use
Please read the operating instructions and familiarize yourself with the device before placing it in service. Correct and safe use of the system requires strict compliance with the safety instructions. For safety reasons children and young people under 16 years of age, as well as people that cannot recognize potential hazards, or people that are not familiar with these instructions, may not use this device.
Safety instructions
- Compare the line voltage (V) and frequency (HZ) of your electrical circuit with the data on the model plate. These data must agree.
- Before reaching in the water, always unplug all power cords of devices in the water.
- Never use installations, adapters, extension cords or connecting cords without ground contact.
- Only operate the pump if no one is in the water!
- Do not carry or pull the pump by the connecting cord.
- Keep the power plug and all connecting parts dry.
- The pump may not be operated if the cable or the housing are defective.
- If the power cord of the pump is damaged then it must be replaced by the manufacturer or his customer service or by a similarly qualified person, to avoid hazard.
- Never displace any liquids other than water.
- Keep away from moving parts to avoid dangers.
- Please disconnect all the accessories when the pump do not work.
- Do not replace accessories casually. Unmatched accessories may cause danger.
Placing in service
- Read and familiarize yourself with the safety instructions before placing in service.
- Compare the line voltage(V) and frequency (HZ) of your electrical circuit with the data on the model plate. These data must agree.
- Attention after installing, adjust the tightness of cover to change the fountain style.
- Comply with the maximum permitted immersion depth (see the information on the model plate).
- Do not place the pump directly in the pond floor mud, place the pump on a raised surface.
- Lay the power cord in a protected manner to exclude the possibility, of damage.
- Connect the pump to the electrical circuit.
- The flow rate can be adjusted by the control valve; the pump will start work once plug in and stop once unplug.
lmportant note
Never operate the pump without the filter basket. The filter basket protects the pump from coarse dirt that can lead to plugging up the pump. Never operate the pump without water (dry run). The pump bearing will be destroyed.
Additional installation instructions
- Our specified outputs are always measured directly at the pump outlet (without hose connection and accessories).
- To achieve the highest possible pump output, keep the hose connections as short as possible. Elbows, angles and other connecting elements should be reduced to a minimum, as they lessen the pump output.
- Because of the different product models, equipped with different outlets.
Part products are equipped with stepped water outlets. To avoid flow lass, the unused water outlet connectors should be sawed off at the corresponding positions on the stepped hose.

Maintenance/cleaning
- Follow the safety instructions.
- Clean the filter housing monthly, or if the pump capacity is reduced, by using a soft brush under running water.
- Also clean the pump in the case of frequent use.
Cleaning the Pump:
- Unplug the power.
- Dismantle the fountain accessories.
- Dismantle the filter housing.
- Clean the pump and filter sponge with a soft brush under flowing water.
- Remove any grime in rotor through the openings

Instruction

Unscrew the press nut to PIC1.

Press the buckle, then take the filter basket out according to PIC

Pull out the filter sponge according to PIC 3.

Press the buckle, then take the big filter basket out according to PIC 4.

Take out the bottom according to PIC 5.
-
The blue valve can adjust the flowrate.

Turn the motor bady according to PIC 6, then take it out.

Take out the rotor, change or clean it.
-
Make sure the O-ring is always in the correct position, as shown in PIC9.
